We did, and we talked to a couple archery hunters and all said a 15" is a trophy out there.

I had one stolen as well. I went to check it last weekend and it was gone. It was lag bolted to a tree and inside a metal lock box. The thief busted the lock and left to metal box. I too will be hunting in the area for deer and for camera thieves.

I love to get new people into hunting and fishing but it really drives me nuts when they become an instant trophy hunter. I have nothing against being a trophy chaser I just wish guys would enjoy being out in the woods or the desert instead of putting unnecessary pressure on themselves to shoot big bucks or bulls, especially when they are just getting into it. Lets get one little notch on your belt before we sing for the fence. Either way at least we're out n about.

Yep, my brother has the worst feet in the world, he usually gets his own tent. We were on a backpacking Elk trip a few years back and luckily he shared a tent with someone else but I got up one morning and his feet were hanging outside the door of the tent. When he woke up he said his buddy wouldn't let him keep them in the tent! We make him hang his boots down wind from camp. We have even burned his socks and tried to smoke out his feet. Nothin works.

Not sure what his maximum punishment could be but my feeling is the G&F should use this case as an example since it's getting so much attention. I think he should receive a reduce penalty. The G&F would get much more respect if they said hey "you mess up and let us know about it and we will be reasonable but if you try to hide it or violate the law with ill intent and we're gonna get the bat out and make sure you don't do it again." G&F is in a sticky situation, some of us see it as a prairie dog, but there are others out there that think the prairie dog should be able to vote for president and have gov provided healthcare. And those that feel this way are waiting in the shadows ready to throw some BS lawsuit at the G&F for not protecting wildlife.

I did the same thing and just replaced it with a cheep ratchet strap. home depot has black ones for $3.50.

One of my buddies has a wife that calls him at least 5 time a day. Drives me bonkers, and he talks to her in this wimpy voice like he talking to a 2 year old. He's always up for an adventure though and he always brings good snacks too. I'm sure I drive him nuts cause I never leave my dog home unless I absolutely have to.

The worst feeling in the world is not knowing the fate of an animal. I would rather lose the meat to spoilage then push an animal in to dark. My 2 cents.

My friend Chad hunts in the nude, he may post a note on your waterhole so beware. He as been looking for a hunting partner for a while. Technically he is not nude because he does where socks n shoes.

My buddy and I were driving home from checking cameras the other day and we came up with an idea. Buy some old broken trail cameras and hang them in easy to spot places. Bait the dirtbags in and catch em with a well hidden cam up about 8-10' in a tree. My guess when they commit to stealing your camera they do not stick around too long to inspect for hidden cameras. That way, hopefully you are only out a broken camera. You might even go as far as to put some funny pics on an old SD card so when they get it home and check the pics they only get crap. If you're good on computers your could even put a virus on the SD card and when they pop it into their computer Blamo!!!!

I bought a 08 Tacoma and it has these tires on it. I would say they are about 70-80% still. The seller of the truck said they have about 6K miles on them. I put a small lift on the truck and I'm thinking about going to a little bigger tire so I thought I would see if there is some interest in the Goodyears that are on the truck.
