Hunting with the aid of a Vehicle

In WM defense, my uncle couldn't find his hunting license last year on a deer hunt. He had the deer tag but couldn't find the hunting license in his pack. WM said, "don't worry we can't sell you a deer tag if you don't have a valid license." He check his drivers license matched it to his deer tag and told us to have a nice day. They do have hearts and common since but sometimes we all have a bad day at work. Hunting from a vehicle and using a vehicle to aid in the taking of wildlife seem to be separate issues, no?

Hunting with the aid of a Vehicle

A decent attorney could tear this apart. If I drive from my house or my camp to the hunting spot am I using a vehicle in the aid of taking wildlife? I certainly didn't walk from my house or camp and start hunting. We should give them tickets for using a vehicle to aid in the protection of wildlife.

10 yr old swaro vs new vortex kaibab

I have owned both, at the same time. Sat side by side and compared for hours. I use the kaibabs now and sold my swaros, only because my eyes are soooo bad the many binoculars won't focus with my naked eye, so I have to wear my eye glasses when glassing. I do not get a full field of view with the swaros while wearing my eye glasses but I do with the Kaibabs. If you don't where eye glasses when glassing go with the swaros even if they are older. Also, swaro will warranty manufacturer malfunctions even if you're not the original owner. I have emailed back and forth with Pam @ swaro and she confirmed that for me before I ever bought my Swaros. Also the Swaro diapter is way better then the Kaibabs since you can lock it. My 4 cents.

  20. I need a 4th Golfer to round off my 4some for this Sunday's ADBSS fundraiser. Check out ADBSS.org for details. Starts at 7:30 am and $75 covers everything and lunch. We are playing at The Arizona Grand. No, you don't have to be a good golfer, I certainly am not, we are just raising a little money and having some fun, and sweating too. If you want to put together your own 4some there are a few slots left. ADBSS.ORG
  21. Ok so I just bought a Bear Attack bow on Ebay and was way excited until I realized its left handed and I am not. If anybody is interested let me know and I'll get you all the details. It's camo, 60-70lb and set @ 28", I am trying to get my money back @ $500 Andy 602-881-0610

I am a bone head, who wants a new bow?

Thanks guy, I bought it from an individual and they have no return policy. It's not huge deal, I can put it back on Ebay and get close to what I paid but I thought I would try to sell it local first. It is a real nice setup especially at this price, my buddy shoots the same bow which is why I bought it. Would also consider trades for quality outdoor gear.

rifle for a 11 year old girl

My wife rifle hunted her first elk a few years ago and she shot a .270 with no problem. She is 5'2" and 110lbs so she is not very big. Here is what I did though. I have a .17 Remington model 700 BDL and she practiced with that at first, then she shot the .270 which was also a model 700 BDL for the hunt. She was very comfortable handling the .17 before she ever handled the .270. I told her what I was doing and why so she didn't get nervous or freak out shooting the .270

Early archery cow - which week to hunt?

I have the same delima, Last time I had an archery tag (2008) I told myself I would take the 2nd week off not the 1st only based on hunting pressure. Opening weekend has every Tom, Dick and Harry and their cousins up in the woods. Now, the moon schedule has me all discombobulated. I will tell you that there will be considerably less pressure during the week and toward the end of the season. I think I will take opening day off and hunt opening weekend, go home Sunday night and then return on the 2nd Friday and hunt the rest of the season. Will get 9 days in and might even get 9.5 if I can make it up early enough on the 2nd Friday. Just my theory and it could change if the hunting is spectacular the first weekend. I may get fired but I will have a heck of a story
