If you have less than 20 pts for antelope, your odds are pretty much less than 5% for any non-archery hunt

Good. Maybe people will realize they are horse crap and not rely on that stupid table. They are wrong, dont use them. If you want draw info hit me up, I can help.

Dont like it, dont click it. This forum has become a go to sounding board for many folks who are integral to this community. Shoot look at the campfire right now, questions about engines, parenting advice, political arguments, lack of rut, Taylor Swift tickets ... it goes on and on Has nothing to do with one clicks on or reads, it has to do with what one types. Merry Xmas, BTW. Happy holidays!

Ok this guy clearly has lost his man card. Dancing like a Swifty with your little girl, ok thats understandable. But letting your wife turn the garage into a utility room with exercise equipment, fake brick and carpet?!?!?! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD TAKE YOUR LIFE BACK MAN!!! -

I am with you Coach, I will not use the abbreviation. For me Christmas is about the gift that Our Father in Heaven sent to us in the form of his Only Begotten Son. We spend the mo th reading, listening and watching things that will help remind us of that sacrifice on our behalf. So, to remove the name Christ from Christmas would change the meaning. Even though others might shorten the spelling, or maybe forget the meaning, I like to think that Christmas or Xmas make the world better for a month. Thanks for sharing your faith and keeping the Savior at the center of your life.

That archery deer hunt predates the time when elk even existed on Mingus. It starts the same Friday every year. In AZ we are kind of spoiled as there are very few general seasons and AZGFD does their best not to overlap hunts. In UT, ID and WY where I have hunted you will have concurrent elk/deer/antelope hunts running with general season tags overlapping with controlled hunts or draw tags. It can be a real zoo, especially when the elk hit the winter ground. Imagine having your limited entry bull tag you waited a decade to draw and on the same knob hunting the same herd is a group of dudes with spike tags they bought last night. As far as etiquette, how were those guys supposed to know if you went up, down, around or anywhere else. It happens, and its aleays frustrating. Hope you enjoyed your time out. Sounds like you learned some good intel for next time. And thats a tag you can draw with some regularity.

Happy b day Cody

This brings up a good question ... why are Goulds tags such a big deal? A tape measure of some sort must surely be involved.

If you arent towing, go with that 3.5 Ecoboost. Coupled with the aluminum frame, it is an awesome machine. The gas 3/4 tons are much lower torque to weight ratio, so they are going to have worse mpg and be more of a dog. No brainer in my mind.

You guys better stop talking about 4B or someone is liable to slap you on the wrist. Only locals are allowed to hunt that unit. And there are no deer there, so dont ask . . ..

We have had this convo, he hasnt shot many deer, so any deer with antlers is fair game in his book. Where as i would have passed on this buck,( I've killed over 300+deer, so I'm picky and dont really have to kill a Deer)His tag, His Hunt. He hunts to eat these critters with his wife and little girls and could care less what others think, puts in his time hunting hard... Hunting with someone with ZERO ego to feed is a breath-of-fresh-air for me, Congrats again "WhiteBoy"... This is why the world needs a sarcasm font. Congrats on a great harvest.

Hes just trying to pad his odds . . .
