Highs and Lows - Life stops for life-threatening illnesses
Flatlander replied to 1uglydude's topic in The Campfire
Man, this is a real wake up call. Love and prayers for both the little guys who are going through this. I believe in Jesus Christ and I believe anything is possible through faith in him. Excuse me now while I go squeeze my kids and try not to cry inexplicably. -
For $20, jeez somebody scored!

Got my second tag today. Now have a HAM and archery tags for the same unit. Hopefully I can find one deaf blind pig to kill.

Shoot a 110" with a scud missle and the forky with a blow dart gun For all I care id still take the 110. I don't think I've ever even seen a 110 90% of guys wouldnt even know what that buck scored at 850 yds. Judging coues at long range is not easy and requires top level glass. So my guess is most of the guys who shoot one at that distance didnt know if it was an 90 buck or a 120 buck. But hey, the last buck I shot was a Forky. We call him king of the dinks. Oh, and did anyone see my WY antelope???

You are not looking in the right places then.

and ADHD takes over...Nope, your choices are just narrow minded. If I had to choose it would be the deer with the rifle. I wouldn't shoot a forky. the scope is narrow. this was intended to see opinions on short range primitive and long range technical. This was not intended for you to give your view on great shots. you can create your own poll for that. Then why the difference in deer? If your intentions were to find out how many choose a modern way of killing v.s. a primitive way then you need to make everything else equal. The deer needs to be the constant and the weapons need to be the variable. If the deer was big enough to take than the bow kill would be the most rewarding. You also need to realize that while many hunt deer, it's not their favorite game to chase. I gave my opinion on the subject and like a Hillary, you had to be a b!tch about it because it didn't fit within your narrow view.Dude, chill, this is a hypothetical, irrelevant-to-life, inconsequential poll on an obscure website forum that only like 20 people read regularly. No need to get all roid raged up about it. Deep breaths.

We need to hunt together again!

I dont care what it says, the bedded bull and the quartering Muley are getting an arrow.

Which B&C stock is this?

Bobby Hurley was also his hire. Give him that.

Its not a signature win because U of A is a mediocre team on a downhill slide. ASU knocked Tate out of the game by getting pressure to him. I also hope he recovers, so that he can be there for us to beat again next season. The firing is ridiculous. ASU is not Alabama and is not going to become Alabama by putting a turnstile on the door to the head coaches office. This program is much better off post Todd Graham than pre Todd Graham and I think he was a guy who could have stayed a long time and created an identity for the program. Instead, now we start all over.

Very cool. Thanks for being a contributor and bringing more than you take away.

Exactly the attitude the antis want you to have. We dont hunt elephants, so who cares. We dont hunt lions so who cares. We dont hunt sheep so who cares. See how it works? Divide and conquer.

Awesome times with the kiddo! Congrats to her!

I have this bow in RH. Its awesome. A flagship bow just a few years ago. Bump for a great set up.

And changed the format. Pretty much just being treated as its own unit with pretty typical management.

I have lived in Pocatello and Rexburg. Love looking at the Tetons, spent lots of winter days driving along the Hoback going to Jackson for work. Beautiful.

What happened to the plastics over the fuel tank?

They are starting to develop for 10000 homes on the deep well in 19b. Prescott valley is soon annexing all the way to perkinsville road in 19a. Sad. When I was a kid there was plenty of goat's and plenty of habitat. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
-
36 fewer antelope tags seems significant. Habitat loss is quickly eroding our sustainable populations of goats. Some day they will be all but gone. Elk tags remain at almost the same number, except for the 650 additional junior tags. Thats a lot of cows that will be killed. Be interested to see if those areas were all at or above objectives or if they just increased to meet the new guiidelines for numbers of junior tags.
