What do you guys do for your hunting beard? I have a beard all year long and shave it every year about this time to start a new hunting beard. I hate having a bald face, but a couple years I didn't shave and let it carryover. Welp I ended up shooting the smallest antelope in the state of WY, and missing my deer but all together. So, here I sit with a baby face. What are your guys' traditions?

At 13 I received a .270 from my grandfather. He bought it to hunt elk but never harvested one. I was able to fulfill that wish of his when I was 14 and 18. Both 1 shot kills. .270 is plenty for elk (even bulls, we've done that 3x) at moderate ranges. Shoot them in the lungs and they die.
