Been fun guys but I am leaving out of here. Got to go see if my trailcam are all burned up.

Someone else ruining a hunt for others by driving into an area that they should walk into but are too lazy isn't right just because it's legal.

The guy I met up there stated because he didnt pay the premium package he was left in a tent and his mountain house meals without any invitation to join conversation in the evenings eventhough he was at their camp. He felt very unwelcomed. When I spoke to the regional azgfd manager over this area he stated that they have told Russ multiple times about his behaviour and it seems to not improve. Ill keep posted as to what if they do anything involving my experience. Really starting to sound like you have an axe to grind and just want to do whatever you can to talk bad about the guy. I mean for real, someone who didn't pay enough didnt get to sit at the cool kids table in the lunchroom? Is this a hunting forum or a junior high? Good grief. We get it, Russ ruined your hunt that you did no research on and no prep for prior to drawing. So now you need to validate your grief by crying to anyone who will listen and is just as ignorant as you were before your hunt. LoL. Really starting to sound like you got a man crush for the outfitter. The guy isn't crying. Opening up dialogue on what happened and informing others that may potentially want to DIY. It's obvious that some have had positive experiences and many have not, with this same outfit. Roll the dice it sounds like if you want to DIY. Ah, the go to 'man crush for the big bad guide' response. I don't know the guy, never met him, never seen him, never talked to him, never even been on his website. But I know enough to realize if I go hunt buff's up there that I am going to have to deal with him. And guess what? I know that isn't my thing and don't bother applying. But come on, he didn't invite you to sit with him in the cafeteria? Really?

At least getting Syphillis would be a thrill. Sounds like getting a buffalo is more like getting a sliver in the same spot.

I would like to say where am I but

This bull needs an agent. -
yep, where ever I put a cam I own that area for a mile radius. If this was a treestand instead of a salt lick people would be losing their minds right now.
-
That's low making money by letting other dude's fish from her husbands kayak.
-
So wait . . . People are all butt hurt because when they go to sit on a salt lick set up by someone else, with a trailcam set by someone else and someone else's ground blind that they heard was being hit on a radio provided by that same someone else but then they get there and someone else is there? I can see that.

They ought to load up that fat heffer and ship her out with the horses.

Running. I have to run.

The Salt River group of wild horses does not fall under the protection of of the Wild Horse and Burro Act, but the Heber herd does. As far as the stallions, I dang near got trampled by one trying to breed a mare on a water hole once. He was chasing her all over the place and they didn't care what was in their path. A few well placed rocks got his attention, but I won't I lie, I was ready to shoot him.

CTRacingRaptor works for Peoria Ford and does side work. He replaced both my manifolds and did some timing work. Class act and very responsible.

I have seen the horses from just East of Forest Lakes to Show Low and from Rim Road to 260, especially in the burn. That's a big hooved invasive species consuming massive amounts of feed.

Looks like you got a prairie dogging spot there too.

Whats the longest youve left an Elk in the field

I just use a grocery sack for my shed bag.

I ran into this situation in Idaho. They have the same law. A kid found a young sow with 2 cubs and treesit near a road, not with dogs, just ran the cubs up a tree and mom stuck around guarding the tree. He was trying to find two other guys with tags so they could first shoot the cubs then he could kill the sow. When I talked to the game warden about it later, he said he would right that ticket in an instant and believed that it would stand up in court, I am not sure I would want to try and fight that ticket in court. The whole thing made my stomach sick.

Grizzly Bear Delisted in Wyoming
Flatlander replied to GreyGhost85's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
There will be so few of these tags with a population of only 1,000 animals that the vast majority of us will never have to worry about the cost. -
Get the map from AZGFD. You can print it from their website from the where to hunt tab for 19a. Fain ranch, Deep Well Ranch and national forest is the majority of what you have for free access. There is also a few ranches you can pay to access I.e. Perkinsville Ranch.

So much for having a caller . . .

This is what scares the crap out of me when archery hunting. So many things can go wrong. -
Mileage and hours?
-
Early scouting is fun, especially with goats. But the second those does start cycling, everything changes. Bucks come out of nowhere, others disappear into thin air. Be sure to spend as much time as possible the week or two before the hunt.

Love that country. Shot my first deer on Frye Mesa and may have rounded second there a time or two 😉 Back before the road was paved and it wasn't nearly as easy to get to. Truth be told a fire might do it some good.
