You are in for a treat my friend. Just do a search on here for past 4B hunts. Some monster come out of there every year. In my opinion, one of the better units in that so-called Mid-Tier. I will be up there too, looking forward to a fun summer of scouting and a good strong rut in September.

They know exactly how many they have sold. They are counting on several people to not show up. This is part of their business model, all airlines do it. If they didn't, flights would be more expensive.

Great cooler I have one identical. Nice price that will save someone about $75 off a new one.

I'd say there are worse ways to spend a week. Congrats on the bird!

Advice on how to input my daughter for rifle deer tag
Flatlander replied to BigDaddyDMD's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
This may help. Go here first and brush up on the draw. https://www.azgfd.com/hunting/draw/process/ Then read here about bonus points. https://www.azgfd.com/hunting/draw/bonuspointprocess/ Then go ahead and dive into the regs. Basically the answers to your questions go like this: Anyone can put in for general hunts, including youth. Only youth 17 and under can put in for juniors hunts. They are usually good hunts but do not always have the best odds. Many of them are designed to line up with fall breaks in school. You can mix and match general and youth hunts on an application. An application allows for up to 5 choices, you can choose to leave some blank if you like. The draw essentially works like this; The first 20% of tags for each hunt go to the applicants with the most bonus points. The remaining 80% are issued randomly to the other first and second choice applicants, then if after all first and second choice applicants have received tags there are still tags remaining they are issued randomly to 3-5th choice applicants. Then if after that there are still tags left, they become 'leftovers' and are available by mail and then by pick up in game and fish offices. There are usually hunts for southern az whitetail hunts leftover each year. So an easy option is to apply for desirable hunts for first and second choice hunts, followed by hunts that typically have leftovers for 3-5, basically ensuring her a tag. That's the short version. -
Looks like it is in his garage.

Following. Not my first archery elk tag but my first archery bull tag, and one I likely will not have again soon.

Man some great advise from Nate. Hunting elk in 7E reminds me of elk hunting in ID. Lower densities, highly migratory great variance in terrain and topography. Glass, glass, glass. Get away from the obvious areas. In Regard to truck vs atv, some of the roads are real bad so an atv will be much faster, but in December you are going to want to bundle up, truck would be much more comfortable.

I bought on AT. Got a 1 yr old model for half price. Great bow and the guy just kept throwing stuff in, quiver, case, arrows, etc. I was a new member and just went on introduced myself and stated my intentions. Could not have worked out better.

I hope she got the bull tag!!! But any tag will be good... Which tag did she get?

Surprised no one seems to have noticed the December hunts are a week shorter. Just the way the days fall this year

That's a sexy little trailer right there. -
But winter kill of mature bucks sure would.

Wonder if Ranger won that at the banquet the other night where you spent all your raffle money.

Dude you are complaining about an anyelope tag? Man, must be rough.
-
Cause lots of people are using it for their wife, grandmother, dead uncle, etc on their party app and then pointguarding and doing it again next year.
-
10 years? I waited 13 for an archery tag. Congrats on your good fortune!

I am guessing a bunch

It's not updated yet. Mine still shows all my elk points, and of course, I have none. Because I have an elk tag.
