Folks I know who live up there said they thought that a shed buyer was using that business to launder money from an illegal enterprise. I have no idea who. I have no evidence. I have no articles to reference because the crappy paper is impossible to search for archives.

Where do you guys like to buy your atv tires? I have never had to replace a set before but after 19 years I think my set of stocks is done. Better off with a tire shop or an atv place? I have also heard order online, anyone suggest a site?

Wonder how many of those kids belong to Josh? You know that MF knows wassup when it comes to roofies. What the crap are you talking about? For real.

Man, lots of sad stories here. I am getting my tissues as we speak. It's like there is nothing to hunt without waiting a lifetime. Just ask TJ.

We have been over this. Go back and read the other 10,000 posts on why AZ doesn't charge up front.

No way it takes that long.

I would bet that he has multiple apps on a single card, not that he put in himself for all those hunts.

My assumption has always been data entry error on a paper application. I once drew a tag I never applied for, but my handwriting was misinterpreted. However it sounds like it was an online app, it could have been a mistake but should have made it to the draw report if it was entered as his third choice. I have never seen that scenario in a draw report. That being said, I fill out all 5 choices on my app with desirable hunts, just in case the computer makes a mistake in my error.

When I hear stories like that I seriously wonder if the person lost track of which choice they put that hunt or made a mistake and switched two hunt numbers when applying. As far as I understand there are no early archery tags that make it past the 1&2 pass of the draw. I hear about this every year but I've never seen anyone with a receipt or anything that could confirm it and when reviewing draw reports I've never seen any evidence of it

That is a fantastic change. Although it will make the draw odds more difficult to figure out.

I am calling it; 3043. Get your thermals out.

What are you putting on for and do you think it might be karma from your screen name?

Access isn't too big of a problem you can pay and Hunt the Perkins or there's other areas you can hunt with out paying there's a lot of goats. Really fun hunt. -
Anyone shooting vap arrows? I am also setting up for elk for the first time in almost 10 years. Interested to see what others are saying here.
-
I have always wondered about that hunt. Good luck and keep us posted.

Agree that it's very important to look at that data. Just want d to give some insight on what else to look at.

Except that you forgot to factor out the NR's. The vast majority of those 81 people (I am not pulling out my reports to verify but I seem to remember more than 50) were NR's. However there will also be a number of people with more than 11 PT's that decide to apply for this hunt next year, which always happens.
-
False. According to go hunt insider, 64% of the people with 23 points drew the tag last year. Go hunt insider simply shows the data from last year. It does not provide true odds (probability) of drawing a tag this year based on point creep, changes in the number of tags, application trends, etc. Regardless, I feel for you, having your hope dashed year after year is exhausting. There is still hope early this week, albeit smaller than before. Good luck.

Good to know people getting tags off rejected cards is still coming. But what in the world could possibly take them a couple weeks to get the info into the system after that? Do they have to enter everyone's results one by one? Seems like they would have a system that would just move the info over and show people who Drew and those who didn't. They don't know how long it will take for the reject cards because they have never done it this way, but it HAS to be significantly faster. I'd bet my left foot results are out by Friday. That said, most companies, especially when communicating between databases, have far less automation than one would expect.

Well, just my luck. Almost everyone I know drew an archery bull tag. Help will be hard to come by.
-
That will be the best hunt of your life. Hunting elk, in the rut, with kids is the greatest thing in the world.

The guy is just asking for a little help. That's what this site is for right? Hunters helping hunters. I've never been there but I recommend sending some PM's to Biglakejake, Alpinebullwinkle and maybe .270 (Lark) if you can get in touch with him, he might even loan you a 7mm-08. Congrats on your good luck I am sure you are very deserving.

Well she must have been up at 7:45.
