Received the rain gear and the pack yesterday. Everything is in almost new condition. Thanks for getting to this quick CM! -
You need 5 applications for each, one for each choice.

Currently reading American Buffalo. Can't wait to pick it up every night. -
Now all we need to worry about is not getting enough summer rain and all the undergrowth that pops up from pre-spring precipitation turning into a tinder box for fire season. If we get 90+ days of no rain headed in to the early summer, it will be tough to make it through camping season and the pre-monsoon lightning storms.

Saw on the news that overnight should have put us at normal rainfall for the year.

Do not lie to everyone. 23, 9 and 1 are the ONLY units with 380" satellite bulls. You forgot 4B

Lots of this going on here.

I see a smokey fall in your future.

If you do an archery hunt, be prepared to hunt for an experience more than a size of a bull. There are so many things that can go wrong with archery equipment that it's almost impossible to have the same expectations as if you were hunting with a rifle. For me, I'd rather hunt longer and kill a nice bull than smack a giant at first light. But remember, if you want a firearms hunt, now is your chance. Once you have it, an archery tag in a normal unit won't be far off. And oh by the way, you are not far off from an early rifle hunt in some other units. Maybe just a year or two.

So here is a secret no one really knows, the draw doesn't look at your license #. Last year I did my mom's app and didn't know her license #, so I just put mine in. No problem, worked just fine.

The early rifle and Muzzleloader hunts are before archery this year, count nsistemt with the departments practice for the last 3 years of rotating early firearms before archery in one unit each year. This subsequently pushes the archery hunt back one week. The late hunts are different. They are the same time as all the other late hunts, which are later in the year due to the calendar year starting on a Sunday versus last year starting on a Friday. For example, the late rifle hunts begin I believe on the 45th Friday (or something like that) of the year and this year because the year began on Sunday the dates are 6 days later in the year than last year. Hope this helps.

Yeah, you need to decide between the early archery and late rifle hunt. If you put the late rifle hunt in your first two choices there is a 98% chance you are going to draw it in the bonus pass. And if you draw it in the bonus pass there is 0% chance of drawing the archery hunt. And by the way folks, late archery in good units are no gimme to draw.

Can't wait to hear about Taylor's next epic adventure.

I'm going out on a limb, but I would guess 17 years.Thats a long limb. That's what she said

Got to be in a unit that has them to have the chance. Unit 23 is one of those places along with 9, 10 and 4B.

You make it sound like they had one hole and just stacked them up as they walked in. That's not quite how it happened. But yes, they did kill a 370" bull and a 390" bull on water holes, different water holes, the first night. I don't remember what kind of bull their third hunter ended up killing. For a bad rut year, it was sure crazy down there that first weekend, I'd almost be afraid to see it on a good year.

Isn't Goodman the guy who runs ground pounders?
