White tail in Sawtooth mountains/Red Rock
Flatlander replied to Manns520's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Hey thanks I'll have to go out scouting and look for some Muleys.. How's the pig hunting out here id love to goThere are a lot of pigs throughout the unit. I have the archery tag that starts in Jan. So hopefully I'll find them. I have seen 4 herds in the last week so odds are good. It can be a tough unit to hunt though especially in the flats. Let me know when you go scouting. Maybe we can get together. That's awesome I missed the draw for pig but I'll definitely apply for the next one. I just harvested my first coues this Thanksgiving hunt and I have for sure caught the bug hahah. We should definitely get together and scout I wanna get to know this area. FYI leftover HAM tags available for 37A. -
Lark - you have a 7-08?!?! So does my wife! You guys should shoot together.

Not a lot of Coues in that country. Plenty of pigs, and definitely mule deer, even sheep. Closest I have seen whitetails was In the foothills of the Tortolita's just south of the owl heads. -
Got my tag yesterday

So are we free to resume tamale solicitations now?

Wins x 2 Relish that win over Nee Mexico all year. Tip of the hat to the Wildcats, they finally played a D1 non conference opponent.

Would you want to stay in Tucson? He's had a hard time staying healthy at this level, an injury next year could end his NFL dreams. He probably won't last at the next level, it's just too big and too fast for him to hold up, in my opinion. I could be wrong.

Congrats again. Pretty awesome right there! A needle in a 40 thousand acre haystack. -
Done, sorry for your adversity. Lots to be grateful though. Love him like never before.

I have had a Cabelas Alaskan guide for 8 years. Tall enough to stand up in, full length rain fly (it survived Heber over Fourth of July this year), with 6 poles and 0 flat sides it's pretty much bullet proof. My buddy has a Kodak and it did just as well over the fourth.
