How would I know any of this? I have heard some stories but it’s all hearsay. But it wouldn’t be very hard to see someone flying a small aircraft over the strip. You can see a long freaking ways and a lot of it right from St. George where the WM’s live. Also, I just thought it was funny that these flights likely had nothing to do with how his hunt ended up and all this trouble amounts is really for nothing.

Pretty typical of the state of our party right now. No facts, just talk. All of AZ is a laughing stock and “purple” right now because of terrible candidates who can’t win state wide elections. If you don't understand how $3 trillion of free money dished out by the federal government impacts inflation, then I can see why you are confused and nothing I write below this will matter to you. All of that was signed by Trump. Some of it was necessary, but the vast majority of the CARES act was pure Pork Barrel spending. Never mind the other $6 trillion in deficit spending during his tenure. If America was a business and Trump was the CEO, no amount of shady dealings or stiffing subcontractors could have saved it from bankruptcy. Then you add in the $2.0 trillion dollar ARP and $900 billion IRA passed by Sleepy Joe and we were bound for a disaster. It was sheer gluttony, all at the expense of our kids and grandkids. Don't forget that while this was going on, prime rates were cut to 0.0%. Literally free money anywhere and everywhere! The facts are that every politician was at the table stuffing their faces from 2020 - 2022 handing out free money to their cronies and we won't see all of that money work its way through appropriation processes for another decade. The rich got WAY richer during that time, meanwhile the average American got a measley $15k in crumbs while the blowhards in Washington patted themselves on the back and flew to Europe on the private jets of their new billionaire friends. Every president for the last 20 years has dished out free money like parade candy to ensure their re-election. Vote for whoever you want, but don't tell me Trump is somehow going to somehow transform himself into some sort of budget hawk and undo two decades of irresponsible spending. Neither will Kamala.

The lockdowns, vaccines and 75% of the inflation causing stimulus all occurred under Trump.

Comical. Giles made his fortune before becoming a politician. Exactly the opposite of being a sellout. And his position against Trump and for Harris essentially excludes him from future political office as a republican. Seems like the man is just committed to his personal convictions. He has nothing to gain by supporting her, other than he believes it is the best thing for the country. I don’t agree with him. But I appreciate a politician who is willing to authentically support a position.

You’d have to ask Mayor Giles himself what his motivation is, but I suspect it has nothing to do with Trumps “mean words” and more to do with his actions as a business man and as the leader of the free world. You can make vain assumptions about his intelligence and fortitude, but I suspect it’s you who lacks the backbone to meet him and debate the issues face to face. Your comments reveal far more about your character than his.

I am impressed with a politician who is willing to forego party and speak his mind and convictions. If he thinks she is the best candidate, heck yeah I am good with him supporting her. It makes me want to puke when I see politicians roll over in order to toe the party line. I for one am glad to see someone being genuine, backlash be dammed. Make no mistake, his support of Harris will come at huge cost to him and his family. He was and is a Mesa community member way before a politician. Where he lives has long standing and deeply held conservative roots. There will be people who do everything they can to make him pay for this. I respect someone in the public light knowing this and choosing to speak out anyways. Don’t confuse that with me sharing those same political convictions. I have my own beliefs, they are different from his, but I respect his fortitude.

John Giles has been a tremendous mayor for Mesa and is principled enough to speak his mind and not hide from the blowback. I haven’t agreed with him on everything, but I have respected the heck out of him. We need more people like this in politics. It’s a stark contrast to others who have seen the gravy train and quickly reversed course and done everything possible to climb on board.

You crushed it! Those sockeye look awesome. We fished on the Kenai over July 4th. Great trip. Sockeyes and Halibut were what we targeted too. Mostly chickens and our sockeye were much smaller.

Bonus pass tags for sheep and bison are applied as a total species. So the first 20% of all available sheep tags are given to the applicants with the most points, regardless of hunt number. No units automatically go to max point holders.The max point holders usually take all available permits for the top tier units: 22, 28, 24B, etc. Had someone with max points applied for a hunt with only 1 tag, then there would be none available for the random pass. Because the max point holders chose other units, the one tag in 37B falls to the random. I do not believe that all tags for 37B have ever gone to the max point holders (there were 2 tags for a few years). It isn’t a trophy unit, historically it produces 160” rams.

Drew the 1 and only tag in the unit. He’s 14 year’s old. For crying out loud. Not gunna lie, I was one of those dude’s whose head was exploding when I checked the results.
