Why is it so hard for people to understand that there is no difference between Hopi tags and regular tags? It's the same freaking hunt. It's been like 5 years since they implemented these hunts.
-
More of the same for me. No elk tag. I seem to be particularly bitter this year.

****Update**** Many folks on here have asked how to thank me, or offered to buy me a beer for my efforts. In lieu of killing my liver with 40 or 50 cold ones, I propose somehting else. If you would like to somehow thank me or the site for providing this information, please donate the $3 that beer would have cost you to Bowhunter4life's gofundme site. His son is battling Hodgkins Lymphoma and they are going to need all the help they can get. So, if you have received or would like to receive draw info please donate $3 via the link below. Let's do this for Jared! http://www.gofundme.com/jznbaw ****Update**** Ok guys, its that time of year again. Fortunately I had a bunch of time off over the holidays and was able to crank these out before the online system got operative. So, if you would like to know draw percentages for a specific antelope or elk hunt please post the following information in the thread below: Unit / Dates / Weapon (or 2014 hunt numbers), # of bonus points and Res/NR. The number of applicants is important if the hunt has a low number of tags i.e. < 40. The only thing I ask in return is that you let me know if you are successful in drawing a tag and if the information was helpful. Keep in mind the following information; I produce everything by hand, and therefore errors may occur, if you notice one or think that I may have made one please send me a PM. Odds are based on last years data, and therefore information is not available for new hunts, but I will be happy to tell you what I think are my best guess. Also, application trends change every year, so just because I tell you that you would have been 100% last year does not mean that will be true this year. Please don't mail me your fingernail clippings if this happens. Please be specific in your requests, if you ask what elk hunt I think is best with 2 bonus points I will tell you Unit 42 Late Archery. Please try to narrow your choices down to a few selections so we can be sure we get to everybody's request. I tend to get slammed right before the draw so please post as early as possible, otherwise I may not be able to get to you. And please only PM me if you have a conversation that will take a while, my inbox gets filled quickly this time of year so there is a good chance that I won't be able to get anymore in a week or two. Good luck everybody.

My 2015 Unit 10 Speed Goat * Updated w/ Pics and Story
Flatlander replied to 6ANut's topic in Antelope Hunting
Sweet -
I got all excited and ran to the mailbox. Nope, you're wrong.
-
With 4 pts you can draw some really good units. Some with a high chance at an 80+ Buck. I am hopeful, I will be going with the goal of topping my AZ muzzleloader buck. 😃
-
Your 8 and my 4 in 2016 could make for a good hunt
-
Will be a 2016 trip for me. With 4 points in that draw I ought to have some good units to pick from, just not the red dessert.

ISO Unwanted old or freezer burned meat.

I've still got mine. I am in Gilbert if anyone is headed that way. -
Where are the grip and grin's?
-
I'm with blaze, those are likely to lead to more "whipping it out" than panty dropping.
-
There are bucks to be had right there pretty much year round, as long as you don't mind highway 89 in your trophy pics.
-
Didn't you guys hear, every bull in 9 is going to get killed during that early muzzleloader hunt they have.
-
Don't take to Millers unless you want your meat mixed with everyone else. I have a guy in young if you want his number Sorry, but that just isn't true. I have been in the room when the sausage was made, 1 animal at a time. They have a USDA Inspector in house, there is no way they coul get away with mixing people's animals. I am sure the guy in Young does great work as well.

Diamond is a bowtech line. They make good bows that are designed to be economical. I would replace strings on any used how I bought. Probably run you $125 tops.
-
There is a diamond rock available in the classifieds here. For $200 seems like an easy pick.

185 lbs today, down 3 more since last week. This week I pushed my pace on 3 miles down to the 7:30 mark and even had a one mile leg at 7:03. I have a goal to get my single mile time under 6 minutes this year, and I think I am finally making some progress.

Thanks for meeting. This is a good seller, very accommodating with my difficult schedule.
-
You are a lucky man to have that tag in back to back years. Good luck and we can't wait to see how you do.
-
Eltaco- I wouldn't say guilty as charged. If you read what I wrote, it clearly doesn't describe you or what you've been doing. I would think you should know well enough from the conversations we've had, if you can come in and contribute, you'll fit right in here. Just don't be the chump who posts 5x milks info from everyone else and never brings anything to the table. That's what we are making light of here.
-
Welcome and good luck on your hunts. One thing is for sure, you will have some fun this fall.

I don't want to come across wrong, I have received a lot of help from people for my hunts and hunts of my family & friends. What is disappointing to me is to see folk who come to this site and contribute nothing before asking for hard earned experience only to disappear after getting what you came for. Every year a big part of why I do draw odds is to pay my debt to our community. During the year people offer to help me with all sorts of things, an the least I can do is find a way to give back as well. But, in that arena it can be seen as well, guys register, make three posts and then ask for help with 12 different draw scenarios, then once they draw a tag, not another word. I would compare it to the guy who comes on a hunt, shoots a buck someone else glasses up and chooses to pass on, let's everyone help pack it out, has some celebratory brew at camp, sleeps in the next morning and then jets to spend the rest of his week at home. Often times, people just don't stop to think about whether they are pulling their own weight or not.

First Post: I finally drew Unit X archery bull, been waiting 7 years for this tag! So excited to get started, going scouting this weekend. Second Post (4 days later): I drew unit X archery bull, never been there before (no, not even once during the 7 years I waited for the tag). Not looking for any honey holes just some general info. Third Post (Reply to second post): Thanks for the info but that info is cut and pasted right out of the regs. I was looking for a little more specific info and some places I can get away from the crowds. (Why wouldn't someone want to post that on the Internet). Fourth Post (4 months later): I am desperate, I really need some help on where to hunt on my archery bull hunt, money has been real tight and with gas prices like they are and my kids in sports and busy at work I just haven't been able to get out much. (So hopefully a bunch of you have different priorities and have sacrificed other things in life to be able to have quality hunts do t mind just handing that hard earned information over to any weekend warrior who stumbles onto this site.) Fifth Post: her guys I don't see what the big deal is, I mean isn't that what this site is all about, hinter's helping hunters?
