The success in dec/jan would be much higher, and therefore removing 100 tags in Oct/Nov would translate to around 50 tags in Dec/Jan. This means less "Opportunity" (and revenue and everything else that goes with it). It can be done, it just doesn't translate 1:1.

I would be THRILLED if they cut maybe 100 of the 875 unit 7 rifle mule deer tags to make way for December archery. According to reported success that would mean 20 fewer bucks would be harvested on the rifle hunt, and only a fraction of that number would be harvested by bow hunters. So tell me again, who loses in this situation? I mean other than the guy who chooses to go hunt deer with his bow in sub freezing temps?

How am I supposed to know whether or not I need to bid on the commissioners tag if credit cards don't get hit before the AES banquet?

If this hunt was in addition to the August hunt, I would be all for it. I would not want to give up August to get December.

Coach - I feel your pain, literally. When I seperated mine I was a college student with just the insurance from my wife's job. I paid $20 3x a week for several months. I quit before it was complete because I graduated and took a job out of town. Two weeks later someone grabbed my arm and pulled it right back out. I never went back to PT and I regret it all the time now. Missing that vacation will be tough, and the money is a tough pill to swallow, but it will be worth it. You will have grandkids you are going to want to pickup someday. You are going to want to bow hunt when you are retired and lift a fly rod over your head. Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want right now.

Taxidermists are not "created", they develop over time and lots of experience. Taxidermy is equal parts trade and art. One requires a lot of talent, and the other requires a lot of skill that takes both instruction and practice to develop. Obviously you have what it takes, and obviously your competitor does not.

I seperated mine in college. I spent 3 months doing PT 3x a week but fortunately at the end of that I could draw a bow. Still today it bugs me a little when I shoot a lot of arrows. Get the MRI to make sure nothing is torn, then hit those exercise bands hard w/ the therapist.

If I have learned anything from the time I spend doing draw data, it's that AZGFD is very predictable. Expect delays again, and I would bet dollars to donuts cards don't get hit till next week. Nonetheless I will be checking my CC every 10 minutes starting Friday.

To lock off public lands and then try to prevent people from legally hunting the lands adjacent should be considered theft. It's stealing publicly owned property from the public. This guy sucks.
