Last year 40% of the guys with 22 pts drew unit 9. The trouble is that 12 of them didn't. So expect that hunt to creep a point this year, putting your odds back at 2%. Unit 7 had 4 guys bump up to 23 pts, so with 9 bonus pas tags, there is a chance you can get in there. Your problem is going to be applying together makes the last bonus pass tag unavailable to you, because if you one of you were selected for it, there would not be a tag for the second applicant. You may consider applying seperately to cut your wait down. 8% 100%

Yeah, the unit 9 archery hunt is a WASTE of points. Don't apply for it. Won't be anything over 280" left after these 25 guys get done. Are there even 25 bulls in the unit?

1%, 1% in regard to 3rd choice for antelope, thee are no hunts which can be drawn as a 3rd choice that hunt as a 1-2 choice is also 1% Still 1% and 1%, but marginally higher than with 13 bonus points. What hurts you here is that with very few tags available, you are hoping that 2 tags are still available if and when the numbers come up. 2%, 1% 1%, 3% 3%, 5% (By the way I am assuming you used 2015 hunt numbers because 3142 in 2014 was a late archery hunt) 10%, 14% 2% , same as it was on the post above 4%, 12%, 5% I am not suggesting that you don't burn your points on the other hunts, just be careful what order you apply in. If you want one of those other tags, by all means, put them down. But if you really want a chance at that early rifle tag, put a second choice that you won't draw in the bonus pass (like what is listed in this post) Good luck! As a resident you would be 26% in unit 10. As a NR, its a little tougher to tell but there should be some NR tags left after the BP. That Unit 10 antelope tag is not going to happen though, sorry. 2014 or 2015 hunt numbers? 11% Not sure I can answer this one. Please clarify ant and whether these hunts are archery, rifle or muzzleloader. Sorrry, post again and I will get you what you need. If you do it that way you will most likely draw the 3a/3c tag in the bonus pass and not ever be considered for the 5a rifle tag. Which, in my opinion, is probably just fine. But if you really want the 5a early rifle tag you may want to consider a more difficult second choice such as Unit 1, 23 or 9. But your chance of drawing the early 5a tag in the 1-2 pass is going to be single digits. You should be 100% on everything but the Unit and the rifle tag. Think carefully, your fixing to burn some points. 22 only has one archery hunt and its for the entire unit - 7% (this hunt used to be a sleeper, no more. Its one of thee toughest in the state to draw, in just a few years it has gone from sleeper to OVERRATED) 8% 25% No worries. - Last year Unit 9 had 12 guys who applied with 22 pts and did not get drawn. Look for them to repeat again this year. This leaves you just out of the bonus pass and fighting 2% odds. Unit 10 was a similar story with 10 hold overs from the 22 pt pool. However with 20 tags available via the bonus pass this year, you will have a chance at securing at putting those bonus points to work and getting a tag before the unit creeps another point. I put our chances around 1 in 10. Tell him to keep his chin up. We want to see some field photo's of him this fall! I am sure somehow, some way he will end up with a decent tag or two.
