Your understanding of the draw is only partially correct. The 20% of tags allocated to the bonus pass are not divided 10% to "bonus pass holders" and 10% to NR. The full 20% of tags are awarded t I the individuals with the most BP and no more than 10% of tags may be awarded to NR. Meaning if a hunt had 100 permits, the first 20 are awarded to those with the most BP regardless of residency. If fewer than 10 were awarded to NR (let's say 7 in our example) in that round, then when tags were awarded via the 1-2 pass, up to 3 more NR could receive tags from that process if their random number was selected. The short answer is that yes, having a NR on your app will make it more difficult to draw a tag. However which hunt you are applying for will determine how much your odds are reduced. Game and fish does not offer a report with this information on their website, so a public information request would need to be submitted in order to get it. I hope this helps. Good job on doing all the research, not many do, and it can make a world of difference on how and when you receive tags.

Nice. I am 31, hunted all my life and haven't ever called in and killed a double solo. You are off to quite a start sir.

Rutting deer and blind pigs make for a fun month. Not as fun as rutting bulls or dec whitetail but this is a hunt you can do every year.

If you need someone to go check on your javelina honey hole I could probably manage. Better take my bow just in case. Anything I can do to help. 😄 -
That beat is not 100-150 lbs as reported. They speculated it found it way down from the Pinals. I thin it's more likely to come out of the south superstitions into queen creek canyon. From there straight down the drainage into town.

That's why Matthews yanked their franchise and gave it to DCA. Dustin and TC are standup dudes and are trying hard to get a solid pro shop established in the white mountains. They have been open in Holbrook for over a year. Good luck.

The matthews dealer in show low is Desert country archery. They just opened a location at the hub. Those guys are great friends of mine and first class people.

Yup. Stay low.

Take a quad. The other 4,000 people out there will. I passed the Hewitt Station turnoff today and there were no less than 25 vehicles with trailers parked right off the highway. It might be worth taking some time to find an access point into the wilderness and hiking in.

Wowzers dad! Good work.

I have pictures somewhere of me with a coues buck and blood streaming down my nose. I actually missed the shot where I got scoped, it rang my bell pretty good, and it took a few minutes to regroup before I was able to finish the job. It was worth it.

There was a hoyt ruckus posted a little while back. Personally I am a huge fan of the infinite edge. Awesome bow, never buy another one for a growing kid.

Great Falls MT. Shot a few up there with my Aunt and uncle who shoot a pile of them all winter. Some of the funniest hunting of my life. -

Twowindy instead of complaining about how out of touch AZGFD is why don't you go to a meeting and do something about it.

And more opportunity at the same time. Sounds like people are getting what they asked for. Those late archery hints have become much more popular than they originally were.
