Where was that?

Have you seen all the pics of dead spikes that get posted here come Oct? I would say folks brag plenty no matter what they kill. I admire your position and conservation efforts, but for most of us who hunt deer primarily and lions opportunistically, we are pulling the trigger. The good news is it probably won't ever matter what we tell him to do because chances are he never sees that lion with his own two eyes.

I will be looking for antelope bucks. Don't suspect I will find many deer where I will be looking. But I will keep the bow handy just in case.

Look how short the legs appear compared to the body. That thing is a beast.

I used some hooks that use three pins across the top. No studs needed but my bear isn't near as big as workman's. Stupid iPhone won't post the pics right side up.

I will be hunting speed goats with my muzzleloader this Sept and was wondering if anyone has had any success with decoys. My hunt has a pretty limited number of tags and I don't anticipate a lot of pressure during the hunt. It's been 13 years since I hunted antelope and that hunt was archery 19a when there were two hunts with 120 tags each. Those goats were as skittish as Unit 6A elk. There are quite a few cows in this unit and I have been considering using the moo cow Montana decoy. Do the 3D decoys work better than something 2D like Montana decoys? With my rig I think I will be pretty comfortable if I can get one within 300 yds. Any and all suggestions welcome.

Non residents are limited to a 10% cap of any one hunt. So when your buddy is added to your app if your group application is selected there will need to be a NR tag available for him or else your application will be rejected. Typically the cap is met during the bonus pass for the more desirable units and the kaibab tags would definitely meet that criteria. Meaning your group would need to have an average number of bonus points high enough to qualify for the bonus pass to have any chance to draw a tag. Unit 23 general might have a few available after the bonus I will need to verify. Ultimately I would suggest having him apply seperate.

What hunt?

if you have the spring archery bear tag, you had better hurry up!

Here is the point you are missing, the forest belongs to US not YOU. You are not free to tear the whole thing down and build a motocross track, ski resort or amusement park if you wish. It is a publicly owned resource and as such an organization exists to manage the interests of the public. If the forest is gone that is not in our best interest. Guess what else isn't in our best interest flushing millions of taxpayer dollars down the toilet and risking the LIVEs of hard working men and women with families because some ignorant white trash heathen flipped a cigarette out the window on a forest service road. Yes some people are tooooo stupid to be trusted in these conditions. For crying out loud people how many million acres have to burn before some people decide to use their head for something more than a storage place for self centered thoughts.
