I bought the infinite edge. Awesome bow and if my needs change I could throw it in a press and set it up for my wife, or myself. Sweet bow.

Dude I was totally joking (this understates the need in the world for a sarcasm font). Please for the love of everything sacred and holy don't just start flinging arrows. It will not end well, trust me. You made a wise choice.

If you are more than 3 pts off max, the reality is you are not going to catch that group. The first key is applying to units that don't go to max point holders the second key is actually being in the draw. There is no point in buying bonus points for sheep, you need your name in the hat. Think of it this way, 20 yrs of applying with 3% odds gives you a 60% chance at drawing a tag some time. BTW I just got done calculating all the draw odds for antelope from 2013, it's not much better in that game.

At 93 yards, Heck why not put an arrow in the air? I mean if you aren't shooting you aren't trying. . .

Auditor says AZ Game and Fish wasted $1 million
Flatlander replied to AZLance's topic in The Campfire
Did anyone else actually download and read the report? Not the news article, the auditor general's report. The one Game and Fish emailed out to their mailing list and agreed to comply with? (Maybe I can find an illustrated version for you U of A guys . . .) I got a very different impression from reading that report from what this news organization is peddling. The most interesting part of the report I read was that they really don't test the draw system to make sure it works. The only QC they have is the feedback they get from people who complain that they received the wrong tag, no BP or no tag when they should have received one. I mean seriously we are going to get all hot an bothered that the Dept sent more people to conferences than other states, and have agreed to reduce it? Freak, I wish my company would agree to send me to fewer stupid industry conferences. -
Awesome buck. With all that mass and those deep forks he is all of 190". Congrats, and enjoy the time with your dad, it can come to an end sooner than you think it will.

With 23 pts xforce you can pretty much pick what you want. At 13 pts you can draw archery. Count on waiting another 7 yrs to get in the bonus pass. But in AZ you can draw any year in the 1-2 pass. In the words of Lloyd Christmas: So you're sayin there's a chance!!!

The 7mm may be ballistically superior at long ranges, it's debatable, but aside from that the Remington 700 Platform provides endless opportunities to modify your rifle one piece at a time, much of which does not require a gun smith. Definitely suggest building from that. Take what you learn and do a second build on the Weatherby later on.

A couple buddies have been hitting me up to take them hunting for a while so this year we picked up a few leftover HAM tags for 37A. These guys haven't hunted much of anything, and I haven't hunted 37A in about 15 yrs. So my question is this, is the info on the G&F website accurate (I know some of that is pretty dated material)? I was thinking of hunting the Picacho's/Newman peak area, can anyone tell me what the pressure is going to be like in that area? One other spot I was considering were the hills bordering the ag lands north of Red Rock. I seem to remember quite a few folks hunting that area way back when and glassing areas were pretty limited, can anyone confirm or deny? Please respond via PM if you get very specific, I don't want to spoil anyone's honey hole. Thanks for the help guys, hopefully we can have a good experience for some guys who are new to the sport.

I was asking if it was a LG or XL etc. They fit differently.

Venison pot roast slow cooker- meat looks light colored???
Flatlander replied to Scooter's topic in Cooking Wild Foods
It's fine. Coues meat, especially from a spike is typically light. I have no idea why. -
Looks like a bunch of his stuff was removed. Not sure why, it was ignorant but not malicious. Maybe he removed them after he recovered from a night of posting under the influence. Or better yet maybe he deleted his profile and all his posts are gone.

In my mind, the ideal coues hunting partnership includes one set of 15's and one 30x + spotting scope. It just saves so much effort to have some real big glass and one person packing both sucks,

Ok, then stick with your carhart. What does living in the valley have to do with having a zipper? Get over yourself and your arctic sub 40 degree temps. -
