Interesting situation developing in college football
Flatlander replied to Pine Donkey's topic in The Campfire
Just ribbing ya Donkey. I have a ton of time only hands right now to read columns and opinions to know it has been mentioned. But I still think most of it is out of paranoid ASU fans. For the record O think Graham would be an outstanding hire for UT but I just don't think the boosters would have any of it. Also for the record I wish ASU would hire your AD to replace Patterson, I think he has been a huge factor for you guys. For UT I think Briles is the guy though. I men seriously he almost took Baylor to the BCS title game. Are you kidding me?! -
And the Niners on MNF. . .
-
Especially if the road to Pasadena goes through Tempe. SDS is becoming a legit home field advantage.

KWP because UA hasn't been relevant all season and they have been thumped in their big prime time games until tonight. The same reason Marion Grice isn't getting any hype or Bishop Sankey from UW. Coach we are pulling for Chans as well, my wife is a Yellow Jacket and her brother was tight with him when they were kids. I am glad they have red shirted him, hoping he is still getting time in the weight room.

Not to be argumentative but Pine Donkey I don't think that Chip Kelly is the most talked about name for the Texas job. I would say in this order the popular candidates are: Saban (who I think would be crazy to take the job), Art Briles the HC @ Baylor (this one makes the most sense, he is a TX guy and if he can make Baylor a national title contender what can't he do with the bigges budget in D1), Chip Kelly but with the Eagles recent success I don't see him leaving, Todd Graham but honestly most of this press is in AZ and I don't think the boosters @ UT would ever be happy with a guy whose best success was on relevant season @ ASU. In my opinion they should be targeting Miles and Gundy as well. In mind this is a post by a Wildcat fan trying to stir the pot and let the air out of a huge night for Tempe, sorry Donkey not taking the bait. -
Don't look now but the cats are putting it on the ducks!

I posted a while back about a friendly wager over the territorial cup. . . Still haven't had any takers.

Lance you sure you aren't a closet devil backer?

It is very possible ASU's football team will end up ranked in the top 10. You really think that high of the basketball team? That's cool to hear. And there it is, now we are jinxed.

Classic....how about a brain instead of auto-correct? Haha after spending 40 hrs straight with my wife in labor and delivery and then getting up every two hours to feed a premature baby I guess there is a strong argument that my brain might be MIA.
-
Touché (where is auto correct when you need it). . .

Well I guess if you have a 125 student athletes on scharship with nothing to play for you can accomplish a lot of things. And I have to say, I am impressed. I wouldn't have thought a wildcat could spell A.

The biggest buck I have ever seen was on the big open hills down by Tanque during the late archery hunt. He was a straight typical that was over 190".

It's a good thing I didn't try to stretch it out. 4 lbs 13 oz

The Buck I Never Dreamed Of
Flatlander replied to tsquare602's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I have probably looked at this thread 10+ times. I just can't get over it. That is just the sweetest buck I have ever seen period. -
Lope decoy works great. Never tried the Muley but figured it would be hard to drive in the ground anywhere that I hunt. The only hunts it would potentially be useful for are the Dec / Jan ones and only the desert units are open for the late OTC archery.

Stop changing the subject. U of A sucks at football.

Usually about 3 minutes before I lose patience and start chasing every sound in the woods.

I really don't like Rich Rod as a coach. I am sure he is a fine dude but the only success he has ever had was in the Big East. The BIG EAST!!! Not a great hire in my humble opinion.

Any other late season archery elk hunters out there?
