For real though, too many tags, too many fires, too many side by sides. I'd be looking at 9, 10, 23.

Well if you need help getting the cargo trailer home let me know. I will be in Show Low next weekend.

I will take some. Sending a PM

I have to drive to U of A today. Work tomorrow. Lame. Remember, pics or it didn’t happen.

Harris Automotive on Old Linden took care of me when I lost a pulley and radiator on an elk hunt one time.

I called Amanda in Kingman and she did it in 5 minutes. I never saw an option to do it online.

The lightning has been unreal in North Mesa. There has been plenty of rain and heavy wind but the light show has been the main attraction.

Ooh that sucks. Anywhere nearby that can get you one?

I am dyslexic so my brain must have twisted it around. Good price.

Is that a left hand bow or a mirror image pic?

The trophy potential in AZ is far lower than it used to be. If I wasn’t a resident I wouldn’t even bother with an application. There are too many tags, too few goats and it’s hot. Wyoming is about to get rough to draw. It’s likely going to double the amount of bonus points required to draw. Spend the money, go with the sure thing while NM before prices skyrocket.

Welcome to CWT and congrats on the tag. Where are you from? We’d love to hear more about you and what you might have insights on that you could share as well. Here are a few answers that might be helpful: The biggest pest on the Kaibab are the squirrels (including trucks and motors, be careful) They get into everything. There are tons of coyotes. No bears to speak of. The forest isn’t any more or less risky than any other public lands with the exception that during the hunts it becomes heavily saturated with guides and outfitters and other wannabe dudes. Hunter conflict does occur. Deer can be heavily concentrated in specific areas during the early hunt so you will encounter other people. Apply the golden rule and you’ll be fine. Most of the roads are actually pretty dang good by AZ standards. The rocks can be sharp so have 10 ply tires. You’ll be fine in a tent as long as you aren’t a sissy. Bring a giddy heater and it will help. But more than likely it will be warmer than you prefer. The area is saturated with roads so getting remote can be tough. Beware, there is almost 0 cell service anywhere except Jacob Lake or the East edge of the plateau. The water situation now doesn’t necessarily reflect what it will be in 3 months. If we don’t get anymore moisture water will be critical. There will be lots of tag-alongs with other tag holders. So there will be a lot of people there. But it will be a solid hunt. The deer tend to be concentrated in specific areas, if you aren’t seeing many deer move on. Some of those dense pine forests can be tough to turn up deer in. So don’t spend too long in one place if it’s slow. And be sure to grab some cookies, milkshakes and pie at Jacob Lake. The grand bull sandwich is also a personal favorite. Good luck and keep us posted.

You’ll probably be up high on that hunt. There are roads every where up there. I have been able to pack every deer we have killed whole to them truck. But we kill dinks

I am anxious to see details on this.

Need kitchen cabinet/counters remodel suggestions/advice
Flatlander replied to Viper's topic in Classified Ads
If you have the tools to reface them then that wouldn't be a bad option. I probably wouldn't stain them myself but would totally paint them. Option 3 wouldn't be any big deal. They don't have to be custom, you could order modular cabinets and set them yourself. -
Yeah, not only was that calf already doomed to die a miserable death, but had you shot its mother it would have just been worse. I’d have a hard time putting an arrow in a spotted calf, but there is no question you spared it some suffering. Nature is metal stuff right there.

Muzzleloader bullets
Flatlander replied to cohofishing's topic in Muzzleloader hunting for Coues Deer
We need pics of the bull to corroborate your story. . . -
4.5 miles 42:33 yesterday Today 75 push-ups, sit-ups and 100 jumping jacks + 2 mile walk Tomorrow 5 miles. Still a fat butt.

It really doesn’t matter how much energy you have if you shoot an animal in the butt or above the vitals. There really isn’t any reason to choose KE over shot placement. This should be a short thread.

All animals that make the book are in the records forever. However only animals above 375” are printed in every version of the book.

The said it was a net B&C bull so at least 360, but not the 400" giants we see sometimes. Between drought and this being a raffle not auction bull I'd say he did pretty well.
