Before we start pitching out solutions and ways to screw nonresidents... we should probably define the problem we are trying to solve.

I expect it to go something like this... Over the next several days / weeks portals will slowly update with correct bonus point and application information. AZGFD will issue an update and extend the cc update deadline. The next day we will see charges as normal. Sportsmen will commence bitching about not getting drawn, provide conspiracy theories and out how AZGFD did all this to benefit various specific groups. We all move on and commence bitching about trail cams and long range ethics.

They can. And hopefully will. Once they get ALL the portals updated with draw info they should allow everyone to go update their cards again. But delaying the deadline would be pointless right now unless they know when the updates will be done. It would only serve to give them a deadline, which they likely are powerless to meet.

200k applications = at least 100k portal accounts. With apparently nearly all needing to be updated manually. 5 minutes each = 12 per hour x 7 work hours / day (1 hour lost productivity for lunch, interruptions, breaks, Facebook, etc) x 5 full time employees (just guessing) = 420 per day 100,000 / 420 = 238 work days They started in February so they should be done sometime this year. I hope your cards have expiration dates WAY in the future.

Multiple states highly regulate handgun ownership and possession. Multiple states regulate ammunition sales. Multiple states do not allow concealed carry. Does that mean there is a major problem we are ignoring? For the record, I am on neither side of this debate. Just pointing out flawed logic when I see it.
