Skiing within 25 minutes, world class resorts, a legit international airport, Sundance, Park City, a stadium set at the base of the wasatch front, a ravenous fan base and the plastic surgery capital of the country, not to mention Wittingham was local. Sorry but the only thing SLC and Tucson have in common is the number of Rose Bowls they have been too.

Guys, how long is it going to take for everyone to realize that NoBull = BC777 = BLOWENS? Its all the same dude and he is a textbook narcissist. He can't be in the spotlight with legit hunting stories because he is revoked for the next decade and can't ever guide again so in order to feed his ego he comes to this site and trolls. He is obsessed with making others look bad in order to justify in his own mind that he isn't a failure. He can't stop measuring himself against other people, especially people who are actually successful at something. No need to feed his ego. He can talk all the smack he wants but he can't go hunting. Why give him the satisfaction of engaging in his futile ramblings? Go ahead BLOWENS, proceed to make fun of my family. Heck, my handicapped son is an easy target, even you could probably come up with something clever to say about him. I’d recommend an Inreach. You can buy one for $450. No phone capability but it will text, run maps like a gps and has an SOS button for actual emergencies. There is a service charge of $70 / month for unlimited texting but you can turn that off when you aren’t using it.

The benefit of December tags is basically the following things: - Better weather / more active deer - Longer Season (by 2X) - Fewer hunters In terms of the units you listed it’s almost an inverse relationship of the points required to draw and quality I would expect. The border units have far more deer than the 20’s units. The biggest thing that drives their draw odds down is their proximity to phoenix and distance from the border. But I wouldn’t count on finding more deer or bigger deer in 22 than in 36B. There are some units that aren’t close to phoenix but also don’t have the border issues. Unit 27/28 or 31 would be examples.

Ahhh the classic “You suck, we just suck more” defense. What was on that field Friday were two teams incompletely different universes. One team is young with lots of talent who lack experience closing out games and making mental mistakes. The other team is devoid of leadership, talent and passion. The power dynamics of this situation aren’t changing in the near future. But sure, tell yourself that ASU is terrible if that helps you sleep at night.

Tomorrow we ride . . . I won't be posting any field updates on this one. I want to leave the phone put away and soak up the time with my dad and two boys. We have the whole hunt available. Hopefully when we get back we have plenty to share. I am a giddy like a kid at Christmas right now.
