@Curtis Reed can we be friends?
-
Be careful Stan arguing with some people often yields few results. The question I ended up asking myself was, who cares? Neither of these two questions makes one bit of difference to the world I live in. Completely inconsequential.

Labs = Meth Try to keep up.

You did pretty good for a mistake 𤣠Congrats on a bunch of memories and experiences. And if it makes you feel any better I am sure the meth head who stole your stuff will have every tooth rot out of their face.

Posting for a friend. We have 2 adults, 6 kids and a couple pets. Looking to live somewhere in AZ for January and maybe February 2021. During this time I would focus on bowhunting deer and then javelina hunting with the kids. We are looking for a semi-rural place to park and connect to utilities for this time frame. I can vouch for the guy, he is top notch, he works on nuclear reactors so they have been doing this traveling family gig for a while. It sounds like heck to me but they are good at it. And the dude is a a legit top notch bowhunter. Good family, I would trust them with my life. If anyone has something that might work shoot me a PM. I am sure Jordan would be happy to provide info on other western states to whomever he connects with.

Every time this comes up I share some advice I got as a young man. Bring more than you take away. I learned a lot from this site over the years. Hopefully it shows that I am still trying to repay that debt.

Got 12 today in about an hour. Shot a lot more than 12 shots though. š¬ -
Are you open to renting space to a group of misfits as described above?

Yep post it up and lets get the bidding started. -
Youād be surprised, those cow hunts are no sure draw either. Just like archery strip hunts, people are dropping off the bull hunts to just try and get a tag.
-
Glassing anywhere between Rye and 260 should yield animals.
-
Here is what I have learned from my research. In terms of draw odds it just sort of is what it is. These hunts are hard to draw. There aren't many tags and a lot of poeple apply. Not really any secrets here. First hunt = Migration after snow melt. Basically chasing them back up the plateau. You'll want to commit a lot of time but be flexible when you take it depending on spring conditions. Hides and Capes are in primo winter condition. June and July Hunts = Sitting Salt / Water waiting for buffalo to cross out of the park. Hides tend to thin out as the weather warms up and bulls roll in the dirt to cool off and fight bugs. Cow Hunt July/August = We hunted this one this year. If the monsoon is late then the water conditions can be very good for hunting water/salt. There are young calves on this hunt, so prepare yourself for the potential of hunting females with very young companions. Apply ethics as you feel appropriate. Fall Cow Hunts = I cant say a lot about this but you will be sitting salt/water. Conditions vary with weather. From my experience be aware of moon phases when selecting hunt dates. These animals can become very nocturnal.

Concho is calling your name . . .

I just realized where this picture is taken. Nice to see at least part of the unit hasn't been moon-scaped!

Hahaha well played on the power lines. It helps when you can put them in your pocket and carry them wherever you like! Congrats on an archery buck!

He didnāt just happen to be there watching that bull. He knew they were going to kill it. And his friend had suggested he bump it. And then the dude goes up there and was either going to āmake great new friends or some enemies for lifeā. I donāt know what that means, but then the Ryan guy needs to bargain with him not to drop in on the bull the next day, knowing full well someone was planning to hunt it. If this was any other hunt and someone suggested they considered pushing an animal out of the country because a tag holder was about to kill it, I think we all might have a different reaction. I am not judging his motives, I donāt know what they are, just considering some things I wondered about when I watched the video.
-
And what exactly was he doing out there when he knew they were planning to shoot the bull that day?
-
Wow, there are still reasonable people on this site. Follow up shot is at 15:08. JJ spent a truckload of money on a tag that will benefit all the wildlife in this state and then came out and was very humble about taking one of the biggest elk ever taken. I see no reason to come onto a website and disparage the man's business. It's not they way I would ever want to hunt elk, but its good for him. It would sure irritate me if he decided to jump on social media and call me names and insult my choice of hunts. Not sure why anyone thinks its ok to do to him. In general it will never make sense to me that hunters are constantly tearing down other hunters. I mean by the time we get done arguing about trailcams, long range and shooting spikes I guess its no wonder that hunters don't have any energy left to show up at the ballot box. I guess I thought a bunch of grown men would have more important things to do with their lives than sit around and pick apart everything another grown man does. Apparently I was wrong.

Super buck. Awesome that you got it done so fast, nice shooting!

Your ignorance is showing. Teachers donāt get half the year off. All those things you just named are the same stupid things that every company has employees complaining about. They are professionals who deserve to be treated like professionals instead of as personal babysitters. I for one sure as heck wouldnāt want to go into a room full of 30 nose-picking booger flingers whose parents are sick of having to spend time with them.
