Range day. Today was my second session with the Viper HST I put on my 700 BDL in .300 WM. This rifle was slated for a build as I didn’t think I would be rifle hunting anything bigger than a coues deer this year. Well things changed so I took it out of the safe and paired it up with a scoop I had intended to put on my son’s rifle. Last time out I was test driving the 200 gr ELD-X with limited success for whatever reason. Today I shot another group with the ELD-X and compared it with the 180 gr Accubond. As you can see the Accubond is the pretty clear winner.

Hey guys I am getting ready to swap out the factory rubber on my F-150. I have been running Goodyear Silent Armors for as long as I can remember and never cut a tire and got decent life out of them. Those tires are no longer available so I am looking at other options now. - Nitto Terra Grappler (Or maybe Ridge Grappler) - Toyo Open Country AT2 - Goodyear Ultra Terrain (If I can get it in a 33" or larger) I do a lot of pavement, but come summer and fall my truck will is in 4wd every week. Dont deal with much snow, but plenty of sand. I do a lot of driving so getting decent mileage out of my tires is as important as solid tires that I dont worry about cutting on rocky conditions. If anyone has any comments on the above I am all ears.

I have had the total opposite experience in another unit that borders 10. Bucks just showed up out of nowhere after the rut kicked in. But this country was broken, with lots of private ground that we couldn’t access mixed in. There were some bucks that hadn’t moved and inch, but there were others, especially the really big ones, that appeared out of nowhere.

You guys with the BFG KO2’s how many miles are you getting out of those?

But I can tell you that there is some really good info to help you get started on the AZGFD website https://www.azgfd.com/hunting/units/kingman/10/ As others have said, the hunt should be very good this year with the winter and spring moisture we have had. I can also tell you, when in doubt, climb a hill and glass. On this hunt you can also listen for bugles in the dark before daylight and then move in closer to those bulls after legal shooting light.
