Does Big Tex use larger wheels? I know Imperial uses 225’s instead of 205’s.

I didn’t say we should censor every offensive photo, I said our photo’s should reflect conservation. But it’s more than just our photo’s, we should actually prioritize conservation in what we do.

1. As little meaningful content as you manage to provide here somehow you manage to take away from it with your pathetic crass language. 2. Posting distasteful and grotesque pictures exponentiates the claims made by the anti’s and frankly many of them directly oppose our claims as conservationists. If we are to claim a position of conservation and love for wildlife, what sense does it make to post videos of “Misting” gophers or head shot coyotes. The same is true of pictures of decapitated deer and elk carcasses. How do these types of pictures differ from those taken by turn of the century trade hunters who nearly wiped out wildlife populations? If we care so much about these animals and are truly conservationists then our pictures, language and attitudes should reflect as much. Any other attitude will ultimately be rejected by the general public.

I care, because it impacts me. You can beat your chest and be as proud as you want but the facts are what they are. It doesn’t matter what the biology says about these contests if the general public find them grotesque then the chances are they won’t last long. Predator hunters could do all of us and especially themselves a huge favor by being more conscientious about what they post and where. A great next step would be to go on the offensive by highlighting the necessity of predator hunting and working with AZGFD to identify areas where their efforts could most benefit wildlife. Like it or not, hunting lives or dies on its public image. Take care of it or lose it. Your choice.

The reason folks want to leave it alone is because the current format creates some barrier to entry. You can’t jusy buy it online and have it shipped like its amazon. At least the current method requires a minimal level of effort that allows the leftovers to be somewhat realistic and not an absolute free for all like they are Garth Brooks tickets or something.

Plus at AZGFD they print the tag like a real permit instead of that garbage they fill out in the store. Regardless, this will all likely be changing soon. The Dept is working on a print at home solution for tags.

In the past, license dealers were paid a fee for selling licenses on behalf of the game and fish, something like $1-$3. So if you paid $45 at walmart for a license, $42 of those dollars went to AZGFD and $3 went to the Walton family. Now all $45 goes to AZGFD and WalMart is allowed to charge you and additional amount for selling you the license. When the Dept says the full license amount is going to conservation, that is in the sense that the Dept, whose purpose is to conserve and protect, is now receiving the full amount. I like it. This was a way to increase revenues without forcing anyone to cough up more money. If you buy from the AZGFD website, it will cost you the same amount it always has and you can pdf your license and make as many copies as you want and have it to reprint if you ever lose one.

These rifles are awesome. We have on I. 7-08 and it just shoots. Great buy for somebody.

I proposed developing a website database with the data they already have and setting up tables that give draw percentages. Basically a GoHunt linked to your portal account. Even offered to do the math and train their people for a few years. I have no idea why it didn’t get any traction with the Dept. Mostly I just think the idea of taking on anymore technology right now is overwhelming them. in regard to Point Guard, I requested the data a while back. It doesn’t make a ton of money, like maybe $200k since it started.
