Nice doing business with you Jim. Very fair and my boys are thrilled.

Congrats on a super adventure! There are some good dudes around here unless you are trying to sell rare deer mules or win prizes for poached bucks, or talk about long range.

You are an animal. Congrats and nice buck!

Hunting/Recreational Property for sale in Aravaipa
Flatlander replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in The Campfire
You’re right, it would be better for some rich guy to buy it and use it to block off public lands. Seems reasonable. -

Answer to #2 is yes. Have you spoken to AZGFD about this property? Would you consider a conservation easement? Knowing conditions down there I am not surprised the animosity for AZGFD since they are a public agency and many of the property ow era down there prefer to lock up large tracts of public land by blocking off access with private land and locked gates. It would be interesting to see what access your property might open up that neighbors would prefer to keep as their own private playground. -

Seems like a very reasonable price. Would be nice if AZGFD could buy it and open it back to the public. -

I vote V3 for the front and yes to arm lettering. Arm lettering is not a deal breaker though. Time to hit print!!! -
That happened to me last year. It’s a common story. Those little cave dwellers are sneaky.

How much for the pro masters?
-
Just pick a unit and apply. Your odds won’t be over 20% in any of the traditional units.

My vanguard did well but was probably closer to $200. I upgraded to the promaster 525 this year and it’s $250. I really like it. The head isn’t bad for what comes with it. I originally planned to switch to an Outsoorsman pan head but not sure there is really a reason too. As far as outdoorsman’s tripods, they are insanely expensive; by the time you set them up with a head and quick connect etc. most guys are into them for a grand. IMO that’s way too much money for an aluminum tripod when there are so many less expensive carbon options out there. Good luck.

I’d do 23S archery. Bulls will be busted by the rifle hunt. Plus you’ll get more days in the field. More hunting = More better.

Congrats! Very nice work.

I still have a pair of these. They were my main 15’s until this year. These are way better than Kaibab or Vultures or most anything else other than the big the European glass. Good luck with the sale, $500 is a steal.

Heffelfinger is great. But don’t let science get in the way of what these guys are saying. For some the solution to every situation is shoot more of something. But hey, when you are a hammer, every problem is a nail.

It kind of is for antelope in AZ.

Sweet. How old is that dude? He looks so serious, all he needs is a flatbrim hat 😀
