I have done dozens of these, never a fun chore and there is no easy way to go about it. 1. Remove all paint and expose bare copper. 2. Cut the pipe aboveor below one end of the valve. 3. Dig around the pipe coming out of the ground to provide some give in the pipe. 4. Apply heat and flux to the soldered end of the valve until you can wiggle it loose. (As stated before, if you are un-soldering the bottom hub of the valve you will need to vacuum out the water through the valve with a shop-vac, I sometimes tape a straw to the end of the vacuum hose to be able to get down inside of the pipe) 5. With the gate valve removed clean up the two ends of the pipe until they are shiny round copper. Often times the copper coming out of the ground is rolled copper and will be elongated from being curled from horizontal to vertical. If this is the case, it will need to be rounded before the new ball valve will fit. 6. Cut a short piece of pipe and a slip / no-stop coupling and fit them plus the ball valve into the gap created by the cuts performed earlier. Be sure to vacuum all the water out of the pipe before dry fitting new assembly. 7. Mark the pipes so that the slip coupling can be slid into place after the pipes are dry fitted together. Slide the slip coupling flush with the new pipe and fit the short length of pipe and new ball valve into place. Slide the slip coupling into the marked position. 8. Solder all joints, allow to cool for 15 minutes and test by turning the water on.

The day is upon us! Let's hear the reports!

It’s not soil conditions, it’s frost depths. Foundations have to be dug 12” below frost line. So in most of AZ that means foundations are only 18” deep, so to dig a basement is an extra cost for excavation, spoil haul off and concrete foundation walls. In places where the frost depth is 36” or 48” then the foundation already has to be excavated, spoils removed and foundation walls poured. So the cost to do the extra excavation and lower the depth of the slab is much lower than in a house with shallow foundations. This is why in places with a moderate frost depth of 24” or 36” you see a lot of split level or tri-level homes instead of full basements. -

Bow dare you post unit info like that online ... Now it’s ruined. -
Got a premium code. Kind of lame that they physically mail you a download code.

One thing I have noticed is that when the bulls start bugling early, I tend to get my hopes up that the “rut” will be great. What I have noticed is that often the rut doesn’t really peak and is less intense for a longer period of time. Just my .02

Awesome buck! Thanks for sharing!

This is why I hunt 4B. Big bulls everywhere, no people anywhere.

Leftovers, otc archery, “mid-tier” units. Podcasts have exposed all of them and the result may be that we lose them. I don’t think there is much we can do about it, other than try to stay ahead of things.

This is something we NEED!!!

I almost died this morning when I woke up and couldn’t find the new content button. I thought it was all over. Dimension 4.3, that one is legit.
-
I like that you can read the first couple lines of posts before clicking on them.

Amanda- Where is the ‘New Content’ button?

There is so much misinformation in this thread its nearly impossible to believe AZKILLER is not responsible for any of it.

I shoot in the retention areas around my house in Gilbert. Never had a problem. When I looked into it I couldnt find any law against it. Shooting in my backyard is no concern. How would anyone know? -
Anyone using the 525c? I had my heart set on the 325 but it is discontinued. I am a little worried about stability with the 4 leg segments. Anyone have input?
-
Thanks for the feedback. Ordered it from Cameraland. They beat amazon by $50 gave a lifetime warranty and told me if I am not happy with the stability though send it back. Hard to beat that. Anxious to get it out and start panning the hills.

Not sure what prisms those have in them but I have experienced some focus issues switching immediately from one focus type to another.

Webcast tonight regarding the "Education" funding

How could it be AZGFD ca the audience if AZGFD is asking for ideas from the audience? They were supposed to be gathering ideas and then assembling recommendations. There should not be anything to argue with at this point.
