You saw three bulls over 375 inches just hanging out off the road in 6A? wow I guess I should be grateful for my tag.

Hours / miles? Mostly highway miles, or a lot of stop-and-go / hard grinding?

In the bottom right pic your hand looked like 2 bears jumping for a second.

Eat more carbs. Eventually they will fit.

Mount Lemmon Higher Elevations Help Please
Flatlander replied to broadhead's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Cant be more than public ground in Ohio or Iowa or Illinois. So if I was you, Id hunt it just exactly the same as you did there. -
Surprised no one has said the strip

Pretty sure Trphyhntr started this to keep people from putting. Then someone else shot a buck that went like 87 last year and posted it.

He was posting about playing golf yesterday.

Wow great deal

How did you do on your hunts out there? Well now that you ask, we have never killed an elk there. But I wouldnt take that as an indication of hunt quality. All of these were newbie hunts and all of them included shot opportunities. I probably wouldnt be picky, even though I have seen some nice bulls there.

Someone that likes golfing? And if they golf in this weather they might get their wish!

I dont get why everyone has such a hard on for that goat. Its got giant prongs but they are looking or 4 high. I think that thing is ugly.

This is the worst question ever. Who in the heck is going to say they want to die in that rat race of a city?

Blue envelops are accepted. But they have the wrong address on them and have to be forwarded. Thus taking longer to arrive. -
Well be there but ours is occupied. Good luck. Maybe try the lodge. Should be a fun time.

Dang good price right there. -
I would not characterize this unit as a top notch unit for AZ. From the little bit of research I have done, I would not put It up there with other units that consistently produce giant goats. But hey, I could be wrong. I was once before.

I have hunted this a few times. Its not 23 or 9 or 1 but we have had a lot of fun chasing some bugling bulls. They can be tough to get on. I actually prefer to stay out where you can glass. Especially the transitions areas. Good luck and keep us posted.

Be sure to tune into the meetings, take the time to make a comment and follow through with it. Posting ideas here is good for brainstorming but it doesnt show the commission anything. The next webcast is 8/9.
-
Not sure what your connection to the group is, hopefully you know more than me, but there is at least one commissioner who is very much in favor of the raffle process. I dont doubt that there are some good folks on the committee, but I am also very concerned that sportsmen show up and speak their mind on the issue and this is a tough time for lots of them to do that. Regardless, we have to show up. Oh, and yes I have several ideas which have been shar d numerous times and I will show up and share with this specific group.

This is important. The base plan will certainly revolve around the auction tag plan that Pete Cimellero was pushing via other means. His group has been meeting with the Dept for months. And when they decided to make this a dept committee and not a committee including the public, they also pushed the schedule back for public input into Sept and August. Anyone else have plans for either of those months? We need to make time and show up to speak our minds.

Except outside of the trophy area. There they are going after 25 of them.
-
I think those will do fine. Be careful where you put them, that area has a reputation for missing cams.

Is the Boyds and ADL or BDL or CDL? Which barrel contour?
-
Thats actually an issue they have had in Nevada as Moose from ID expand their range southward. Several have been shot just inside the border, desk its it being a crime. Some are mistaken for elk, some are just shot for novelty. But for a species which has so many other troubles in so many other areas, its a shame that poaching/novelty killing has become a barrier in places where they are doing well.
