Pros - You have access to a property that many others do not. Your hunt is first so you get pick of the litter. Cons - There are not always big bucks in there. In which case you will have to go off ranch and your money went down the toilet. Not sure how many permits they are selling this year, but in years past its felt a little crowded in there at times. It costs $1200+ Congrats thats a great tag and you should have a chance at some great bucks.

Why exclude half the unit. You waited 11 years, get the permit.

Looks like you are drinking your own urine

Cabelas Geodesic Tents - Instinct worth it?
Flatlander replied to Norteno's topic in Other Hunting Gear
I have the Alaskan guide model. Its more tent than I have ever needed, and is still reasonably easy to set up alone. I wouldnt want an 8 pole version just because of ease for setup, let alone additional cost. My AG has been through some really wet storms and a few really windy monsoons. Never had an issue. -
I think the question is will anyone be able to prove that AZGFD took their camera, which was not being used for the take of wildlife. We all know its exceedingly difficult to know who takes a trailcam. Then whoever it is they take it from, once they prove that AZGFD took it unlawfully will have to have the stomach and money for a fight in the court system. That might be the tougher part.

Dude for real, we cant have a dang thread about horns that doesnt end up with a bunch of grown men bickering like my kids?! We need a pics only section.

Thats an extractor for those really brown ones!

Saw two small bulls still packing in 22 today. Saw lots of elk though.

Congrats! Sounds like it got a little western at the end.

I thought it was to complain about the mid-winter draw results, but g$f solved it this year. Only cow hunters and AZGFD employees call it the mid-winter draw

Man, this thread is the biggest bunch of blowhard BS I have ever read. You guys must be bored. Does no one realize that right now giant sheds are hitting the ground in 4B?!

Yeah, xbow permit is really not that hard to get. I know several guys who have them that dont have any trouble with normal every day activities.

Just heard A3 killed a couple bulls on this hunt last year had a bunch of clients put in for it this year and plan to dump 1,000 cameras in the unit.

They stated before the draw the portal would be the only online way to see results. Phone results have been posted since the day portals were updated.

Well you know, Jay Scott said he doesnt like angled eye pieces. So thats like the Bible now.

You arent making anything harder. Its sinpler on your own. I do like having someone around to talk strategy with especially at night when prepping for the next day. Other than that, alone is just fine.

My 15s are dead sexy. Todd is top notch. -
Since it looks like I will have a November archery tag this year, by mistake, I am wondering who on here has done it. Interested to see how you chose to hunt? Water? Spot and stalk? Drink beer and drive roads? Only thing that is good is the relatively low tag numbers. At least there is that... Pics welcome.
