Arizona Bonus points- worth it or not for the december hunts?
bigorange replied to critrgitr's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
BC is right...don’t waste those points on an early season hunt. I’ve hunted all the seasons in several of the southern units and definitely saw the most and biggest bucks on the late Dec hunt. They may not have been rutting great, but they were definitely moving more. Fewer hunters was a huge plus too. I think you could have a great hunt in any of the border units you’ve listed without having to wait longer. Pick one of your 8-10 pt units as first choice and one of the 3-6 pts as second and see what happens! -
Great deal on a great stove...brings back a lot of memories.

Nice deal...location? Does it come with any PBR? 😁

Usually works out great to be glassing for one and see the other...getting a double would be really cool though.

I’ve been stalking a mule deer and run into a javelina before...of course my javelina tag had expired a couple days earlier.

Nice. One of these years I’ll buy myself a 30-30.

Best joke on this thread. I miss Lark.

Only heard of one of these but I’d take recommendations on this from Lance any day...

This is cool to see...my kids don’t shoot much, but I’d appreciate this deal if they did.

Horns seem to have some red to them...Gilas?

No personal experience there but friends have family there and have gone there to hunt. Sounds like the tag and license process is straight-forward, but not much public land at least where they were hunting. edit- and by “there” I mean Wisconsin and not specifically Middleton.

Awesome buck...congrats! Don’t mind the hair as long as you don’t pull it up in a douche knot. LoL

I see 8 cents a round.

Friend has one of their scopes and likes it a lot...I may give them a try for my next scope purchase. They’re off Speedway near Camino Seco in Tucson with a shop where you can check things out. -
But you’re a Tucsonan...say it ain’t so!

Bump for nice price. Less than I paid for mine...
