Agree 100% and can spook them and call them back in multiple times. If you’re putting in for archery, the 36s are usually an easy draw and The season overlaps with OTC archery deer.

Ascites is no joke...and can be a sign of serious underlying condition as you’ve mentioned. Often the only solution is physically removing the fluid by draining and diuretics won’t touch it. Tough spot to be in with the risk, but I hope you’re at least getting it looked at.

I’ve only hunted that unit once on a HAM hunt, but seemed to be lots of public land...saw a couple nice coues on that hunt too.

Bump for great boots. In my experience Crispi’s run a bit narrow...even after trying on and finding what I thought was the right fit, I had to exchange mine for wide after I wore them the first time.

If it’s not a marked FS road and not a FS gate involved they’re probably allowed to block it as private. How far is the walk if you parked and walked to where you want to glass?
