3 mulies, 5 coues, 4 audad, 1 bear with 7mm RM, 168gr LRAB, same rifle- stiller/brux, Ramshot Magnum powder. 4 different shooters over the last 4 years. From 250yds to 648yds, they have preformed very well!

My 2018 Desert Buck **More Pics Added 11/28***
rcdinaz replied to Yuma Outdoorsman's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
great looking deer! -
My furthest was a mule deer at 648yds, angled toward me so the shot broke his shoulder. He did jump down hill and then piled up at the bottom. There was very little wind and I had plenty of time to check the distance multiple times and set up the shot. We had 3 coues deer taken in Mexico between 500-550 and all dropped where they stood and one Audad at 562 my dad shot, jumped off a rock and then did a header into a rock pile. All were taken with the same rifle and time to set up the hunter with little to no wind. I will admit the misses as well. Missed two coues deer in Mexico that were inside of 200 yds, getting excited and rushing is bad no matter how far you are. I would much rather have time to take a shot at a longer distance than be on top of a deer and feel the need to rush.

I have tried everyone mentioned and a bunch of others. The Walkstool is still the best option out there fast, light, and packs down small.

you are not that far off considering the mfg probably uses a different length barrel, calculates in ideal conditions, G1 vs G7, where your chrony was for MV measurements, etc. You can play with the MV and see if you get something close or do the actual changes if you have software that will accept multiple inputs. It is probably easier to find a YouTube video to see how to work with your software than to have everyone try to explain it in writing.

I have had the BP MC for a very long time, it is through BofA. I will be cancelling it the card soon. I never use the card, AMEX has far better programs and the best perks available if you travel.

10 last week we heard them. Saw one big bull that was already starting to make some noise.

I have a Briggs & Stratton 3,500 I bought from Home Depot 5 or 6 years ago. It has only been used 4-5 times and I had a carb kit put in last year after it had sat for a year at my dads house. Selling it because I found out that now that my dad is older and had shoulder surgery he can't pull start anything he owns anymore. Will be buying him an electric start before winter. I am located in Chandler/Gilbert and need it sold this weekend. $250 takes it.

Lot's of views? Someone make an offer so I don't have to deal with the Craigslist crowd.

I have had a few Chrony's without much problem from any of them. I start with the info I get then adjust my ballistic software for actuals by shooting at 3-4 distances. The only thing I don't like is the shades and the little metal poles which are a pain to eep track of and get set up but just about all of them have the same set up.

I have seen a few good ones in 2A but it has been a couple of year. A couple of scouting trips and you will probably find a good one.

Do a quick search, here is one post with the Berger data listed. Should have what you need as well as some conversation by others on their results. https://www.longrangehunting.com/threads/7mm-rem-mag-and-berger-195-bullets.160534/

Multi-function GPS watch....who wears one...is it worth it?
rcdinaz replied to Viper's topic in Other Hunting Gear
I have used them had a Sunnto recently. I now use an Apple Watch, which in my opinion is a lot better due to all the apps. Obviously no barometric pressure but I carry a Kestrel anyway. I also use my phone pretty much exclusively now as a GPS, addicted to the large screen. I pair the watch with the Garmin GLO so I don't need the watch GPS and save a lot of battery. -
1st custom rifle w/ backstory

Great looking rifle, congratulations! -
Download the ToMo app (Touch of Modern). They have reconditioned and certified Rolex watches for sale often. As for style/model get what you like so your son has an heirloom from/about you. Submariners, GMT, Yacht Masters are all the standard link band models you think of when you think Rolex. All hold or increase their value given time. Great gift to leave your son!

Sorry I didn't post load data just got back from Calgary and didn't have the info with me. I am shooting the 195's out of a Defiance/Proof setup. Custom chamber as Lance mentioned so start on the low end. 70gr of Retumbo, 215M Federal primers, avg velocity is 2,920 based on my last time with the Chrony and the first 12 rounds. Even at 300yds the larger bergers were knocking holes in the steel, AR250 not the AR500. The 168gr Nosler ABLR out of my other 7RM were not doing this. I know the bullet construction is different but I was impressed.

They are awesome if you have a gun set up for them. I just started shooting them in a new setup, only out to 865 so far woth a 10-15 mph wind. Was with brand new shooters and they were making the shots. I just picked up another box at the Extreme Store everyone else was out of stock.

If I don't have to take a leak every 2-3 hours I know I am not drinking enough. Never tracked it in detail but my guess is around 3 liters, 5-6 water bottles. A little more if I have a cup of coffee and a beer or two.

no AZ tag but we are going to Colorado. As always looking for a good mature bull but after the first day and a half will be looking to bring home the bacon. Since it is my first time in the area or CO for that matter it will depend on the scouting report and what I see going on in the area.
