Great problem to have! I am sure you will find a way to cope. 😁

Tough hunt, seen a couple bucks in the forest near the res.

Are you guys using the standard worksharp or the Ken Onion version. Just curious as to what the difference is.

I am finally going to get out and chase turkey's this year so I made the mistake of researching a possibly new gun. Now I am more confused... seems a lot of articles on 20g now and new guns with pistol grips and such. Should I just take my SX3 12ga duckgun, or Franchi 20g, semi auto and throw a turkey choke on it or is a dedicated turkey (& coyote I guess) gun worth it. Looks like it would be around $500 . Also, like all hunting I am sure I will be hooked like crack after the first day of chasing turkeys so I am not torn up over buying a dedicated gun if it makes the experience better.

I had 19 and no tag as well. 16 for elk

I have never been drawn and only had one AZ elk tag but this year one of my daughters got drawn so this will be the first antelope hunt for the entire family.

That is how you do it! Very nice rifle well done. -
Very difficult to save money. I have been looking at this for years and know a little about it based on the industry I am in. Still not quite there yet, batteries are getting better as well as the solar panels themselves. Just remember sola is battery power so unless you spend a ton you are still operating off of car batteries at this point.

I have one of the original Canyon Coolers that has served well. However, I recently got a Vibe cooler and it is fantastic and you can't beat the price. This is one of those finds that you hesitate to tell everyone about fearing price increases. They make Kayaks so it is every bit as tough as any of the others, looks great in green camo, and has awesome features. Patents must be expiring on roto-mold coolers because there are more brands than you can count on Amazon now so you can find something for cheap. Only downside is helping a Chinese vendor vs the USA. I have a soft sided RITC which is a great little cooler as well.

I have one it was my sitting or on my stool tripod for a long time, it is probably 5-6 years old. Still operates as it should with no complaints. It is not as sturdy as my manfrotto but that is a heavier tripod I use for standing. Just throwing it out there to point out I have a good comparison. My dad used the Benro this last season with the 15's and was good to go off of his stool. Crazy light, fits in my Eberlestock side pockets, and durable, pretty good deal for $100. Or you cold just buy the extension tube for an outdoorsman.

short answer: Yes I have checked it and it is very good. Yes I turn necks. same reason I would pay more for Lapua. Firstcoues I believe there is additional machining since the necks are chamfered and flash holes machined. I would guess that they may do some sorting as well, strictly anecdotal as it is very consistent checking an entire box. I use this for my 7mm RM and daughters 6.5/284. But exclusively now for the 7mm.

Always a chance. But not a good one. About 4% on the antelope and about 2.5% on elk. "So you are saying there is a chance!" Thanks!

I am at 19 for goats and 16 for elk. Looking at 10 or 3 rifle Antelope and earl rifle for Elk. Do I have a chance this year?

I have been very impressed with the Nosler brass and have switched most loads to Nosler. I load and go but with a first loading how much does it matter? I only ask because I only hunt with fired brass that has run the gamut of all the steps. Brass always moves some so I don't chamfer or trim never fired brass. I will tell you I have found no need to trim, chamfer, or deal with flash holes using the Noslers after the first firing and their machining seems every bit as good as Lapua. Quite a few critters falling down dead at over 500yds the last few years with a few different hunters. I group loads based on concentricity with every brand of brass, usually into 3 groupings. long story long, I checked them and weighed them the first couple of boxes and they were more consistent than anything else I have bought.

Those little boats last forever we are still using my dads boat he and his dad bought when he was in highschool in the 60's. As long as there are no holes a couple of rattle cans will have it looking new. Price seems good if the bearings on the trailer are in good shape and it rolls straight with a great motor. Good luck with the sale!

I have used Von Hansons as well and they are good guys.

well done! Any ram is a good one but that is looks like old dude that had many battles. That is where I shot mine as well, it was a pretty tough hunt with the base closings 12 years ago.

Mine came from Bruce as well, about 5 years ago. He has just about everything and was incredibly helpful. I think it took 6-8 months to finally get my hands on it.

I have a Lansky kit as well but nothing will beat that belt sander as mentioned above. Harbor Freight has the small ones for around $40.

Awesome!

What do these things weigh? 50lbs?

Is the 2,999 the sale price? Not being sarcastic just making sure I did not miss something. I am familiar with the scope as well and realize it is one of the best. -
We have 3 Eberlestock and a Kuiu. I use the Elk Camp pack for pretty much everything now. I can't get away from having the scabbard even though I have tried.

I have a Champion 2000 the little square one and it is a great generator and very quite. Go look at the RV sites and YouTube videos for full details and sound tests. The Champion is plenty quiet, we run it on a boat for bowfishing all night long. Do a little research and you will read that the basic design is a Honda copy same thing with the new ones Harbor Freight offers and a lot of the others. You can buy a parallel kit and run 2 and have options with the smaller gennys. All that being said id you have the money a Honda is the best you can buy and they hold their value. Either way buy a cord long enough that you don't have to hear it much at all no matter the brand.
