I have the older Rino's and they are great but I need to upgrade. I also have a delorme InReach for text communication in remote areas which I highly recommend to anyone going to Mexico or hunting on the res with know service. What is everyone's biggest reason for using a standalone GPS over your Smartphone with a screen 2x-3x the size and resolution? Is it just battery life? I have found carrying a small backup battery and my phone probably still weighs less than a standalone. Also, using the GLO the actual GPS last's days without a recharge and it seamlessly switches from the iPhone to the iPad when I get to the truck. Probably some good reasons just curious.

No kidding! And Holly looks like the real deal and a crazy good striker that can't be easily taken down. Not even Rhonda likes to get punched on the button and it showed. Great for the sport!

Okay who makes this thing? I would buy one of these at $350 seems very reasonable given the prices on all the others half this size.

Looking to Buy Binoculars Under 500 dollars. Reccomendations
rcdinaz replied to CouesHunterAZ's topic in The Campfire
I forgot about the Weaver's but remember reading a review that they were the surprise entry and really good bino's just like their scopes. They always get dinged though for weighing more than any thing else. I also keep reading the zen-rays are worth every dime but I have yet to try them out. Someone sold a pair of Mavens on here and they looked fantastic with the Kuiu pattern on them. The reviews on these were good also and the custom options look cool. -

I have heard of a few guys that have seen the turkey up on the rim. I don't get randomly shooting at something. I guess people get excited but you have to have bad intentions to begin with if it is out of season. Not sure how people get away with entrapment?

Awesome! I have a buddy that is all "river runs through it" and keeps trying to get me to go all in on the fly fishing. With my addictive perfectionist personality it is one hobby I have avoided like the plague! Maybe in retirement when I have time to be consumed. My dad, who is one of the best fishermen I have ever known and pretty much out fishes all of the guys we fish with still, has also avoided fly fishing (he is all consumed by Bass). He and my buddy go at it just like Hank and the crew and it is hilarious! "can of corn", "worm drowner", "bottle cap thrower", "tree snagger", "girl shirts" it goes on all weekend! When my old man wants it to end he always pauses and asks him "how many fish did you catch" pretty much silence... Then he says "thats why I ain't got time for that I am too busy caching fish!". I will say we release everything these days unless the kids are begging for a fish fry.

I like the Kuiu as well but have been threatening to buy a 5.22 for a while.

Again good luck! Always remember HR has one job and that is to protect the company. They are not there for the employees as advertised, they are there to mitigate risk and protect resources if that happens to work out for the employees then everyone is happy.

Amen! Thank you for the greatest country on earth!

I agree figure out a way to make a change and report to someone else. After having a world class "bad boss" or two I can tell you choosing a good boss is one of the most important things you can do. This may be messed up but I have seen it quite a bit, usually nepotism or promotion of a buddy by someone else. Also start looking for new opportunities and make it a part of your career. I have been at my current job for 15 years but still talk to people about potential opportunities and occasionally go through the interview process. It sounds backwards but I really believe it makes you a better employee. The grass usually ain't greener, you learn about other companies orgs and processes, and you have a different perspective on your own work and its importance. Good luck!

You are killing me! I have a swaro and don't need excuses to go buy an $1,800 range finder.

Okay I am very interested in this as well. I am in the Bay area a lot for work and would love to know how to set this up and what it would cost. Those deer are beautiful! -
Removing rubber coating from savage stock

This... We did the same to the Tikka stock on my daughters .243 and it took a new fancy paint job no problem. -
I would guess this as well a bad outlet or the GFCI is bad and no longer will reset for that area. I had this happen in my last house with one of the bathroom GFCI outlets.
