Well my RZR 800s, and Suzuki 250 ATV, and the trailer were all stolen last week. The saddest part is they were stolen from a Church in Chandler. I am trying to find some pictures, didn't realize I never really took any pictures of them in use. RZR was the Orange 800S model, the only standout thing about it was that it had a ballistic nylon soft top, windshield, and back window. The Suzuki was all black with black Badlands wheel well bags on the sides and a flat red ATV gas can attached to the back rack. The trailer was a grey (with plenty of rust) double axle gravely trailer specifically built to hold a UTV & one quad. The trailer had a hitch lock on it so someone had to do a little work to get at it as well as it being parked between a work truck and an enclosed trailer. It took a lot of guts to get to it and drive off with it.

yep! Every time I have had something stolen or broken into it is a repeat offender.

The trailer had a ball type trailer lock and they still managed to steal it. Good thing is all my stuff is insured but police reports, recorded statements, deductibles, registrations, and replacing is such a pain in the @ss! I will check out the gps tracker assuming I find a replacement RZR. I actually have to have a notarized statement done in case some scumbag kills himself and tries to sue me. Unbelieveable! As most of you have said I assume they are in Mexico or already being sold for parts. I will start adding a chain to the trailer wheel on anything left outside.

Zeiss Conquest HD 15x56 vs Swarovski SLC 15x56
rcdinaz replied to Bassmaster's topic in Optics and tripods
Agree with this! Also, in the reviews I have seen none are pointing to the EDG as a winner. And none as MUCH better, optics are still subjective in a lot of ways so there is never a 100% winner from any of the birding, hunting, or sniping sites I have seen. At best most of them end with a decision that is 96% vs 98% or something in that realm. It usually comes down to preferred ergonomics at the very high end on the HD, ED, etc. glass. My best is example is my 8x32 Leupold Gold Rings. When they came out there were a few very serious comparisons done across a half dozen brands and the Gold Rings were the winner or equal to the euro's. They never did compete with the Euro's. My guess is the ugly color, slightly annoying eye cups, and the fact that they were the heaviest by a long way in their class caused their doom. For the OP see if you can try them out and what feels and looks best to you. If something bugs you about one of them don't buy them it will eventually make you nuts after hours and hours of glassing. -
Crazy buck! can't believe I missed this one. Way to get it done!

I was searching and I found a picture I remember seeing on another site take a look. Anyway Tubb's has a bunch of stuff on the topic and has rifles with some extreme cant and scope height as an example. Apparently demonstrating the trig KWP posted. My bad, I guess it really doesn't matter as long as the scope is level when shooting. Of course Tubb's sells his own version of an anti cant level that attaches to your scope.
-
Lance I know you know this but it will still be the same as your original statement. The scope offset is what is canting off of the axis so a canted rifle and a plumb scope is the same issue. Maybe the degree varies a bit, guess this is what you are saying. I am not trying to be a stickler, just that your original post was a great example and OP should know it still applies. Correct me if I missed something. Never have thought about barrel timing, may have to do some reading on that one. I don't shoot any bench comp but it may be something they take notice of.

Same here our group used to run into them in 32. I actually want one as well, full mount so I can have it perched on a mantle in the cabin. I have just never had the opportunity to even take a shot at one.

That is a really pretty deer! Nice job!

Proven SA caliber for coues

Yes! Don't do the 6x284... If you see my earlier posts on the gun I built for my daughter I learned the hard way that with any VLD bullet it will be a single shot. I am looking to re-barrel on a beautiful brand new rifle to a true short action round .260 or a 6.5 in one of the short magnum cases. -
That is awesome!

Dang! I have the same one and it is my favorite pack... Need another one!

Cold water and I don't even bother to turn it inside out since the water and soap don't know the difference. This last time my wife through it all in the dryer, it was on low and seemed to have no affect on any of the brands that were in there.

Wow! great looking buck!

Fantastic! Some great trophies in that line up, well done!

I posted my daughters story and we watched a big 'un all day Thursday before her hunt. May have been the biggest I have seen in AZ, it made the fork and 3 pt he was with look like babies. Bedded that sucker down after watching him for 3-4 hours that day. He completely disappeared on opening in day so we missed our sure thing this year. Good luck to the rest of you keep knocking down those bruisers!

Great season! Two great bucks and a bear, on a roll! I have seen a couple giant forks like that and I myself would not hesitate to shoot one. I have no problem with funky deer that look unique they usually have great stories that everyone remembers. Nice job helping other hunters to find success!

Mine and my Little brother Bucks

Nice job! That is a toad I would have guessed a little more than 110, well done! -
KaibabHunter, did they tell you needed the adjusters or are they good to go without them? I am asking for future reference when I bite the bullet and buy a set. Thanks!

If all my junk wasn't in storage waiting for the move into the new place I would loan you my 6.5 dies but I can't get to them right now. See if anyone you know has a set you can run a couple of cases full length through and if there is any difference. Cheapest way to check your die I know of. The headspace gauge is solid advice but I skipped that because you said the gun chambers new brass just fine which means the chamber has pretty much got to be in spec. Nosler brass is amazingly uniform and consistent in my experience. They actually machine flash holes and case mouths on their new brass, it is fantastic stuff!

I was thinking the same thing, lots of big bucks!

Bruiser! Congrats!

Awesome!

First I would call RCBS it could be the die is out of spec (not likely but maybe) they may straight up replace it just as a courtesy. You could order a shoulder bump die and a body die. This will avoid the bottoming out issue and let you very specifically move the shoulder back. The body die alone may remove the tightness so start there. With the shoulder bump starting at 0.001 and using the same increment moving it back until it cycles and write it down, and create an indicator mark on the die and press so it is always correct. Probably no need to say it but every time you reset your die run a test case through all steps in you process and make sure it cycles before you do final loading just in case something moves. Check out this link: http://www.scout.com/military/snipers-hide/forums/5532-reloading/14117194-anyone-ever-had-any-issues-with-1x-brass If there are still issues then the best solution would be to send Redding a couple fired cases and have custom die made. This costs a lot more but it is almost always the best solution.
