Okay... 500 on the list!
-
You guys are killing me! I was looking at the 700 but checked out the 500 and 502. Are they worth the extra weight and $$$? Still cheaper than the Outdoorsman which I checked out, it is awesome but over $300...

Boat question about replacing the wood decking
rcdinaz replied to deserttacoma84's topic in The Campfire
I would have them all ready. There are corners you won't want to force a sawsall into, also a way to remove anything glued down without tearing up your surface. Take lot's of before an after pics for reference... and so you can brag later! -
That is a pretty good deal! I will take them. I am in Chandler and can send PayPal. I am not in a hurry so we can figure out delivery when we have a chance. PM me the desired PayPal acct info.

Bino's you can go cheap and get away with it, spotter you have to spend some money if you want smooth. I use the Jim White for the bino's and it is awesome but a little on the light side for a spotter. That being said it seems a lot of guy use the 700, I was thinking about getting one as well to replace my bogen trigger grip.

Boat question about replacing the wood decking

As someone said check a few other forums like bass boat central. Here is a link to a couple of guys who just did this on the bowfishing forum: Well there was a link.... hmmm it won't let me edit and add the link... bow.fishingcountry.com forum page has a few active threads on the best way to remove the old and options for new flooring look for "can't feel my fingers" post. -
Looks like it is in a great shape! I rented one last year and it was not as clean as yours. If I only had the room... Good luck with sale!

I just picked this up on Amazon... smoking deal. I checked the store here first and when it was empty I looked on Amazon and it looks like they are getting rid of these, maybe for a new model. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L1F86CM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It showed up today solid as a brick... A bit heavier than I like but i can glass standing now.

Big Agnes... cut wider so they are actually comfortable!

So, do you eat the bear(s) you kill???
rcdinaz replied to Lv2hnt's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
Thanks! After killing my first Black Bear and loving the carne asada now I am sure I have Trich... Good info, thanks! This made me feel little better: About 90%-95% of trichinosis infections have either minor or no symptoms and no complications. Most trichinosis infections have minor symptoms and do not require any treatment as all symptoms resolve without treatment. -
Can you purchase over the phone? I don't know the process other than the old days when you had to camp out.

I have both and they have different advantages. Twist type make no noises and won't get caught on anything, but they often slip after wear or if you don't tighten them down. Lever locks can be in the way but they are more reliable and probably faster. I don't think it is a defining feature for me I eventually complain about either one for the reasons given.

I use a Benro carbon fiber and a Jim White head. The head was more than the tripod, all together way less than $700. You can't get much lighter than a CF tripod and a Jim White head. I don't have any trouble with the wind and binos but for the spotter I still use the monfotto tank of a tripod I have had for ever. If you want a spotter to stay still you will have to go heavy and stay away from CF which transmits all the vibrations.

Try a medium diving sexy shad! My dad caught a cat on one, actually he seems to catch a cat on a crank bait about every other time we head out no matter which lake. I can tell you the lake is full of catfish (and carp). We usually bow fish pleasant and sometimes there are so many catfish I can't believe it. Try to find the big shallow flats and fish them right before they drop off, probably something you know already but we always seem to see a couple cruising in those areas at night.

SW did my rug and it turned out awesome! I have seen a few full mounts he did and all of them were both creative and impressive.
-
Well done!
-
I drew a sheep tag 10 years ago with 7 so $!@* happens. That being said you guys are making my 16 goat points seem pretty depressing.
-
Not everyone can afford one!
-
This is very good! Add up the components and it will be hard to beat unless you consider #1 or #2 a big change. If I hadn't just paid for two Mexico hunts this is exactly what I would be buying for my next critter-gitter! Good luck with the sale!

I never even caught the tongue it doesn't really stand out. The background pic does stand out, in the first and last pic the scenery almost looks fake. My guess would be 1 and 5 were taken with much better cameras. All awesome deer!
-
I think they are all pretty good. I have more Kuiu than anything and love their pants, rain gear, and jackets. Take a look at Core4 as well it has been very good and I got it on Camofire for 40%-50% off which makes it the best clothing investment i have made.

Stiff denim or saddle cloth... You will be sweating a lot though!

I have Dish and me wife is out of her mind without Fox in the mornings. Had Cox in the past and Dish has the best equipment with the Joey system (Slingbox) and I only really watch recorded shows or sports. I am really considering slowly unplugging now that I have Roku, Google Chrome, and Apple TV. Heck the kids live on Netflix and Amazon so they don't even need the cable. I just gotta get the wife unhooked. All of the cable guys are priced really high considering 80% of the channels are a complete waste and the good ones all cost extra. Their world is going to change pretty fast over the next 5 years IMHO.

Shooters App. How many use it and thoughts?
rcdinaz replied to SO I HUNT's topic in Long Range Shooting
I use it and thin kit is one of the best. -
I googled quad sticks and there seem to be a lot of designs and guys making them in Europe. Looks simple enough for a weekend project. Might be a great item to have with young hunters who have trouble holding up or balancing a heavy rifle. http://www.coriniumrange.com/venison/ A YouTube on making your own. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8L2Kgmvs_PY Entertaining to watch him try to cut off a finger with a hack saw!
