I am in Chandler and this is what I do as well. I have been using Jim for over ten years now. His work is almost perfect even when he has had to fix a couple of issues I caused with skinning or shot placement . Go there just to see all of the crazy stuff his guys are working on from all over the world even if you end up not using Jim it is worth a visit. My dad always asks to tag a long like its a trip to the zoo.

Chickens! That may be the best answer ever. Not what comes to mind but those suckers eat a lot of bugs and do it quickly. My suggestion to the growing list is DE (diatomaceous earth). It is cheap from the pool supply place and will kill most bugs if they get it on them. Humans and other animals can eat the stuff with no danger so you can spread the stuff everywhere. My dad had it all over his backyard for scorpions in places he could not spray because of his dogs. You will have to apply it regulary since it will just turn into additional soil after awhile. You would use it along with the fire, poison, and chickens.

How well does the magneto speed work? I was about to buy one, they look awesome but then I read some folks had trouble with POI changes from the chrony touching the barrel. I guess it may not be that big of an issue to re-zero or maybeit is not an issue. Feedback form someone that has one would be great.

Glass it all! But in my experience 9 out of 10 times they will be in the shade other than first and last light or if it is really cold.

I have two shooting Chrony's and they both work well. Yes, they will measure arrow or bullet velocity.

I still have all three but if forced to choose, no contest, its the 12's. I just had this discussion with a buddy. You can see everything with the 12's you can see with the 15"s. The only short coming is the ability to pick apart a bush which obviously the more power the better. But I have a big spotter for this as well.

The OP or my comments on blowing stuff up? Look up 43B, you have to go get a card to hunt issued by the base part of the getting the card is agreeing to call every day for clearance to the unit. I had two days where I was not allowed on and you could hear the bomb session going off most of the day. Bummer was the part of the range the G&F had seen the largest bucks on their last census was completely closed for firearms training due to the war in Iraq. Still an awesome unit though.
