Just like all the deer and sheep on the Yuma proving grounds. Random bombs, gunfire, etc and they dont usually change their location or routine. I keep coming to the conclusion we give critters way to much credit... they aren't exaclty sitting around thinking of ways to have a better day.

Amen! Knock em' dead!

Trigger pull for hunting rifle
rcdinaz replied to mulie hunter's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I think you will get a lot of answers on this. Most of what I have read are claims 2lbs is as light as you should go for a hunting rig. -
it was all good until the no toilet paper!

From what I have read it is not in their standard data so you will need to call. You probably already know this but you may have to find something close back off to the starting numbers and work up very slowly. From what I read it sounds like you will becoming close to a compressed load which is probably why they stop before they get to the larger bullets.

Well done! That is a toad of a deer also.

I have Bilsteins on my Avalanche which has a 6" RCD lift. They have been great shocks even on a very heavy vehicle.

†he Hornady's are great ammo. My daughter shot her deer last year with them.

I hear you! Both my daughters have 3A/3C tags, 15 and 13 years old. First tag for one of them second for the other, thank God they did not get my ability to never get drawn!

looks good to me! A trophy is a trophy, I just got back my daughters first deer which was a Mulie fork. It was an amazing time with her and Grandpa which willl be a camp story for years.

rcdinaz replied to az-6.5-284's topic in Classified Ads
Go to BDM Customs. Custom trucks is what they do and since they do a ton of cars for the dealers they really know what they are doing. They are also extrmely reasonable. They are off of University and McClintock. Mark and Mike are the brothers that own the business if you want to ask for someone. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions. http://www.bdmcustoms.net/ -
Team Teel! First archery Coues Deer January 2014
rcdinaz replied to s.teel12358's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Way to get it done on a great deer! Great story! I have my hunt with both of my daughters in two days, hopefully we will be as successful as Team Teel. -
Well done & Congratulations! I think everyone should get some practice in like this. It makes the 300&400yd stuff much easier and really builds confidence once you understand all the little things it takes to make th elonger shots. It also makes one shot kills a much more regular event.

Pretty much... You can skin them but there is a lot of work to take care of a hide after you skin it. Of course this is great practice for when you finally have to skin a trophy. You can videos on YouTube if you want details on skinning and tanning.
