Start with the Feds. I actually loaded 20 rounds with the fed 210M's before I got more cci's. I didn't see any real difference.

Yes, I found the magnums aren't necessary. I read a lot on that subject and found quite a bit of feedback where others found better ES with std primers

More is better!

Azbow, I will look up the specs when I am back home this weekend. Magnum is supposed to be slightly more stable than H1000 which has always boasted about the best stability rating out there. Magnum claims were only 2% over 100 deg change in temp, I think I read that on long range hunting. The accubonds were seated out pretty close to the lands but not touching. Touching lost a noticeable amount of accuracy. Also, their claims have to b fairly close for the modeling in the Shooter app because I did not have to make any adjustments out to 550yds. I did not get to shot them at 1k yet, and on the bergers I had to tweak things a little at 700 to get the drop right out to 1k. I was using H1000 @ 69.5gr on the berger 168's.

Azbow, I shot the 168 Bergerac with h1000 the last couple of years and had them scooting around 3050fps. The accubond LR are only about 2950 w the ramshot. I know I can get a little more if I take the load up a half gr but have not tried. I am also sure the H1000 will push them 3050 just like the bergers. However it is shooting so well I made up 60 rounds as is and will shoot these for awhile. Oh the drop chart for the AB's is equal to the Berger even with the loss of 100fps. Just a little more efficient design.

I-19 is an international roadway, it ends at the Nogales port of entry so until it merges with I-10 the have to have signs in kilometers...pretty easy explanation right there...don't have to be an expert for that one! Ha Ha Ha Right... that answer... Actually that is wrong! I19 actually implies it is an interstate built and funded by U.S. taxpayers and yet the only one with metric signs. Next guess! They did that when the whole country was "supposed to" switch to the metric system. Americans didnt take to the ways of the rest of the world and now they can't and have no desire to switch it back. Yep! more weird AZ trivia...

Do you want a bag for packing or just for tent camping? Mummy, square, down, synthetic? Down is awesome for weight and comfort but takes more care. I agree REI is great and a couple of times a year they also have 20% off for members as well as the garage sell. My daughter uses and REI down bag we got for a great price and it is a great bag. Her sleeping bag is better than mine. My favorite brand is Big Agnes because, I cant stand sleeping in a mummy bag. Also the lining in the BA bag has that cotton feel. I dont like the slick finish on some of the bags that feels clammy. Also check Eddie Bauer they have some really nice square traditional shaped bags and good sales a couple of times a year.

Funny stuff! I have the exact same blue boat my dad gave me he had it from when he was a kid. I cant remember it may have been a Sears catalog item. It has always been very solid. good luck with the sale! -

Why do the signs around Tucson ridiculously change to the metric system?

Fantastic looking animals! Great Job! Any info you can share about what it took to make the trip happen would be great.

Why does ear hair grow so fast?

looks all of 105 to me! keep an eye on that dude.

I almost ordered one but ran out of time. I will be placing an order soon. Yes they are some what specific to your conditions but you could easily make the change based on where you will hunt and which load you will be using.

I would love to see it when it is done!! Jeff I will post it when we get it completed. Supressor will take 6-8 months, both it and the barrel are on order.

Not the biggest die hard basketball fan but AZ college basketball should be a good story over the next 5-6 years. Yes, UofA will have the premiere program. However; ASU should be getting a new coach and putting some money into the arena. Grand Canyon could be a really great story as well. I think Colangelo knows a little about the sport from college on up. Oh yeah and somehow the Suns keep finding ways to win, gotta wonder what Hornacek will be able to do with the crazy number of draft picks the Suns have socked away . AZ should be a much better state for basketball all the way around going forward.

very cool! congrats!

My newest one is proving to be the best I have put together. New powder even though my go to is H1000. 4831 should work but this Ramshot ball powder makes things so much easier and speeds up the electronic scale. I bit behind my H1000 load for MV but when it started throwing bullets through the same hole I quit caring. Nosler 168gr Accubond LR Nosler brass CCI large rifle primers 70.5gr of Ramshot Magnum Oh and I just shot my first +100 Coues in Mexico this week with this load. ~310yds and he dropped like a stone.

I am missing something, I dont see the power listed for these? Sorry if it is on there and I am spacing it...

okay and back on topic! Someone asked about the price difference. It looks like $700-$800, from ~$1,800 up to $2,499 on most sites. Seeing the old-new model going for about $1,500 from a lot of guys now which is $200 less than the 10x42's cost new and only $300 more than the Kaibabs. That my friends is a steal!

I have not tried them but I have read a number of reviews. Feedback seems to be mixed so it looks like some folks with a lot of expertise or eyes sensitive to the changes can see the slight differences. I am still using the original 15x56 and still love them but will probably try out the 12's for my next set instead of the new-new 15's. I think the best news will be all the guys that can pick up the older version for less than $1,500 when people upgrade. Even by Swaro's numbers the changes are small, the length and 4 position eye cups are welcome changes. Summary of Swaro numbers 7% lighter (42.3 vs 45.5oz) 6% more light transmission (93 vs 88) 15x56 SLC's 216mm vs HD 15x56 192mm long (almost 1") 23% more eye relief (16.0 mm vs 13mm) Wider Field of View (234 ft @ 1000 yds vs 231) 4 Position Eyecups Improved edge to edge clarity (not sure if there is a measurement)

Very nice!

I shoot a CBE 3 pin adjustable. Get what you like and practice, sounds obvious but what I mean is if you have confidence in your site and like it then you wont have to think about it.

I have called in one and shot one, sine then I haven't duplicated that luck. I used a jackrabbit mouth call and was in a river bed with a lot of large trees. The lion I shot was young which probably had something to do with it coming into the call. I will also say I was a much better caller back then and had quite a bit of luck on yotes. I was calling a lot more than I do these days.
