  1. 2015 Polaris RZR 170 I bought off a fellow member of the site a few years back. My kids have outgrown it and it's time for another family to enjoy it. It's been a great machine, never had a a single issue. I replaced the fuel pump last year more as a preventative measure than anything else. I also had the local dealership replace the fuel tank as it had a recall on it. Tires were starting to get worn down, so I just replaced them. They have zero miles on them. Battery was getting old so I put a brand new one in as well. It's hard to find a measuring stick for a price on it, as there aren't many for sale across the country. Only comparable one I can find is $3700 at a dealership back East. I think that’s a bit high and I’d like it to go quickly, so I’ll sell it for $2500.

Feel free to text or call- 480.221.3610

    Thanks!

    Matt

My ranch bordered Max on the south. I leased the land from our property boundary up to the well near his driveway.

Learned that Max has recently passed.

Small world. Beautiful country out by your ranches. When my dad was still able to hunt about 10 years ago, we went back to Blue Mountain and hunted. My dad was blown away with how much the mule deer numbers were down. I passed on a few spike/forks and had a heck of a time getting away from people. I was thinking about giving it a whirl next year and hunting with Sean Vogel and Spring Creek Muleys on private land. Or giving ol Blue Mountain a whirl for old times sake. My dad grew up at the base of it and they lived off of those mule deer in the mid 40s.

Either area you mentioned are good spots just learn glassing spots that cover good oak scrub hill sides and is somewhat remote. The bulls will be out feeding. Matter of fact go now and glass for the bulls, they will be in the most part where they are now for the late hunt.

Thanks Jim, much appreciated. I was thinking along the same lines. If I found em now, they'll be there in December when they're done chasing tail :-).

I’d be interested in any pointers for this hunt too. My wife drew it and I’m heck bent on helping get her first animal. I spend a fair amount of time in 22, but mainly chasing deer with my bow. I run in to elk here and there, but have never purposely targeted them. I’m planning on scouting the base of the Matazals and the Little Green Valley area. Wondering if there’s any where else I should commit time to scouting for a hunt that time of year. Feel free to PM any recommendations!

  5. I'm looking for a rifle ready to go, proven to be accurate at long distances. I know "long distance" is open to interpretation, so let me know what you have, as well as proven distances. I don't reload, so if you have a rifle that shoots missiles at 750 yards, but only with your custom load, please have a solid amount of ammo loaded and included. Open to different calibers, prefer to have a scope (4-16X minimum), but will consider one without. Looking for a gun that has had work done- trigger, brake, stock, etc. $2K-ish max.
