"PREMATURE CALCULATION" ... I enjoyed that even though he is mid-30's, My odds of drawing are so slim, way less than 1%, there is no way I'm going to know soon; but he does have tremendous luck. Although, it has not happened in a long time we did refer to him as "the boy who cried WUFF" as he would continuously say he heard a javelina back over there but we would never find them. It will be fun to give him grief again but would be a shame if his card got compromised. Sure is interesting how many "KNOW" when the draw is but offer no corroborating evidence. And how many predictions have been wrong so far. ps: when I got drawn for sheep, it was from the funds available thing and then I had to wait a couple weeks to find out which unit.

Just in case you 18K noobs don't know it, the portal takes a BUNCH of time to update BUT your credit card will show a pending charge. On mine, I have to look at the remaining credit available or call my card company and ask about pending charges. So forget the portal for now and call your card company and drive them nuts!

My guy is pretty big and has some vertigo, so he is pretty easy to tip; but he is old so I avoid it think he may get hurt. I just stick to cows.

Offer to buy some of his books and lure him back out! I do hope he is still OK.

I read an article several years ago on treating handgun wounds in Trauma Centers. It made the point that handgun wounds were rarely immediately fatal (FORGET THE TV STUFF) and that if you could get the bleeding stopped right away, survival was good. It also made the point that rifle wounds were rarely treated in Trauma Centers. Reason? Most often they were quickly fatal. Made a lot of sense. Not that you can't take big game with a handgun but things are definitely stacked against you.

The tag could be in the gambrel of the back leg. We are our own worst enemy. -
An old Scottish lady once told me: " Aah, the Campbell's? Quite the sheep stealers!" Gotta be careful going to the Motherland and which cities!

How so? They are $310 new on amazon.

Annealing actually softens and restores ductility which is the opposite increasing elasticity and spring back. The case neck is then able to stretch which is why trimming is required. Good points about the color. What powers the induction coil? A welder?

Isn't it just a torx bit?

And to think I though I was the only person to put 8x binos on a tripod !!!

Tempering is actually a toughening process that may bring down the strength/hardness after transformation quenching of higher carbon steels but it greatly increases toughness/ductility. Otherwise, the steel can be extremely brittle. Good points on the brass. So with annealing the brass cases each time, do you have to trim each time?
