You can buy all the tags/ licenses you want at any time, but when he enters the field, he must me 10 and have the Hunter Ed card. Many years ago when my son took it, the instructors would not give out the card till the kid turned 10 so it needed to be near or close to the end of the course.

We just towed our 26' up to Eagar from Tucson with my 11 yr old Ford F150 Supercrew. I go though Salt River Canyon without too much trouble. Timing is key: try to go early and not during busy times. I just pull over and let people go around frequently. I actually have more trouble from Dripping Springs up to the top of the hill at El Capitan (sp??). We got 8 mpg.

They generally do not stock big lake with catchables but just fingerlings so almost all the fish are holdovers.

We dropped off elk in Eagar and Miller's shipped it to Tucson for way less that driving up to Px.

I have often pondered this. One of the worst was a beautiful young lady that had two kids and husband. She had the most beautiful voice I have ever heard. She died of a heart defect as the girls were young kids. Maybe instead of asking why I have thought at least she was able to get married and have those two beautiful girls. Who knows what they shall do. Our limited perspective of the here and now sure does not lend itself to a full understanding.
