  1. I had three flocks of turkeys come into a pond (tiny) during my cow hunt.  They just seemed so stupid and easy to take but they have internet and know the season closed 5 days previous!  They sauntered withing 25 yrd of me on the way out.  so humbling.

An AR with a buffer tube and a < 16” barrel is legal if it was listed on the 4473 as a pistol or receiver. Always has been legal that way. All that is already talked about in above posts.

    Curtis Reed:  YOUR THOUGHTS???

  3. I have a pair and love them.  Only issue is the weight.  I subsequently got some of the new lightweight ZEISS 8x.  I'm hesitant to use them so they stay in the case while I use the Genesis as I already scuffed up one of the lenses.  They get thrown in the back seat for immediate use.  I had to drill and tap the center barrel to accept a tripod adapter.  Did they start making them usable with a tripod adapter?  Good luck with the sale.

Looking for a used Rascal or Chipmunk .22 for my son's birthday. Let me know if you have one for sale, thanks.

Ignoring the jerk who posted the spam/scam, I have recently obtained a Rascal for my grandsons and had some comments on your quest. I could not find locally one except the target version which was more expensive.  The plain jane ones are so inexpensive.  The used prices don't seem to be much different than the new ones.  Note the gun is like a one or two year gun as those kids are growing so fast at the age.  They don't seem to be all that satisfied with one shot!  😄  The used guns also don't seem to come up often, but who knows.  Seems like a lot of gun shops are carrying the new ones now.  The trigger on the Rascal is exceptional compared to the others.  I have seen people making stock extensions via 3D printers -- that is a great concept, but they cost 1/3 to 1/2 the value of the gun -- that might extend the life of the gun for the young hunter.  I love this gun.
