I found this skull in the blue a week ago. It had a point broke off while growing and it hardened bent over. A few of this weekend

I graduated from payson in 83 and we used to shoot our bows in the parking lot. Most of us had shotguns hanging in the racks.

Now that's flat knocking one down.

I was down on the blue sunday and it was really running hard.

Almost all the mountain lakes are full or should fill. Nelson went over the spillway a month ago and is still running,luna is spilling over. I had someone tell me there's over 5 feet of snow on the flats at big lake and crescent so hopefully those lakes will finally refill. I was on lyman today and it's coming up and should fill this year. There is alot of snow up here it should be a great runoff year.

Congrats it's a rush to watch your kid get his first big game animal.

I use the bruntons all the time. I like them but if I ever have the money it will be swaros in a heart beat.

Those resident numbers showing second choice had probally already drawn their first choice. Those reports list all the choices that people make it doesn't break down the actual draw.

While I agree that no one owns a spot after developing a salt lick. I also believe that most people only want to hunt that spot after finding that someone did develope the salt lick. There's a big differnce in still hunting thru the area and suddenly deciding to put up a tree stand. As for others stuff leave it alone and go find another saddle or stand area and do your own homework.

Thats what it is all about, congrats to your daughter and for you, for bringing another hunter to our ranks.

My boy found a spike drop like that under the rim last year. Had big ball of horn and a spike sticking out of it.

I think why I find really big lion kill coues is the fact that big deer like solitude most of the time. It helps the lion to only have to deal with 1 or 2 animals than a herd.

It was 12 degrees when I shot my muley last jan. I will be retired in 15 months and all you have to do to kill elk in nov or other times is scout them a little harder. As for vacation around 5 weeks a year.

We were packing out a bull in 22 sunday and crossed really fresh tracks of a real nice bear in the snow.

I have found 4 and all of them came home with me.

All those bucks are really nice. Your pops has the right idea catching 10 pounders is really a great idea.

That is what hunting is all about. Those boys earned their first deer and will be what keeps our hunting heritage from completely disappearing.
