How old in the rifle? Does it fire with the safety on?

I totally agree, but that is such a narrow niche market. Just trying to wrap my head around how someone decides to go that route. I like the gun, it’s very cool.

I might be dumb and just don’t understand, but what’s the point? At that price and that weight, a sbr AR is lighter and available in most those calibers.

About 8 years ago they tried to seize my uncles trailer, they were convinced it was a store bought trailer. We had to strip the entire chassis to metal so they could inspect it for numbers. It might have just been the inspector, but yes they tried to seize it, and it didn’t go well. Long story short, he eventually got a title

I believe it will require a class 3 inspection at the dmv. They would like to see receipts of your “build” hopefully it looks like a home build trailer. Otherwise,depending on the inspector they will try to take it.

Ford sells a manual telescoping mirror, mirror will stay the same size but I believe you all power function and have to use manual everything. But if you have BLIS I’m pretty sure they won’t work

Are you looking for a larger mirror overall? Or one that is telescoping?

I hear ya, going from my sendero to the Christensen was a huge weight reduction. Are you thinking 150fps loss with the shorter barrel?

Great looking gun for 10lbs, it’s going to be sweet. Was this your super light build? It’s hard to shave weight with those heavy S&B scopes, but I know you’re not going to be getting rid of it anytime soon lol. Great build as usual Lance, keep us updated on how it shoots.

Was this a rebarreled sendero?

How light are you looking for? If you don’t reload, the 280 AI might not be for you. Bergara is nice, the kimber is shaved down to bare minimum and feels way too cheap for me and for that price. I ended up going with the Ridgeline, overall much nicer IMO than the kimber. Plus I hated the action of the kimber and prefer the Remington based action on the Christensen. Custom Tikka with a carbon barrel is very nice, as well as a custom r700 carbon barrel.

That makes a lot more sense, I guess I read that wrong. sbr 7.5” aac subsonic with a can is a fun gun. Wouldn’t be my first choice for hunting predators at 100 yards though
