Tell Russ to put some chains on that Ford . You certainly are back soon; does that imply success? Doug~RR -
These externals seem to get very high marks for comfort and load carrying ability: Dana Design Terraframe Granite Gear Flatbed Barney's external frame I suffered many years with a Camp Trails pack.

Tim, have you considered the Kowa Prominar instead of the Swaro? http://www.livingbird.org/netcommunity/bbi...peChart2008.pdf http://www.birdforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=286

1st Annual All-Ladies Turkey hunt!
Red Rabbit replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
What a great time that must have been had by you ladies. And a nice house in which to stay to boot! Bet you will have lotsa takers next year if you do it again. Are you going e-mail this story to all of the participants of BOW to keep some fires burning? Doug~RR -
The solution is right here with the Alaska Creations Bino Pouch http://www.coueswhitetail.com/bookstore/binocular_pouch.htm Before this I was using the IPI (now Mad Dog) Bino Manager with the 10+15 Duovids. I heard the Mad Dog cover is just a little smaller than the original IPI. Doug~RR

I draw about 27" out of my 55# longbow. Received good arrow flight with 2016 and 2114 Aluminum arrows, and some 35-55 Gold Tips with 125 gr points. Did some bare shaft testing to get the right length.

Taking Photos of Your Coues Buck
Red Rabbit replied to Red Rabbit's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
These photos from the contest show something pleasingly different than the standard sit-behind-the-deer photo. The above photograph, which received an honorable mention, has the hunter looking at the deer, which transfers viewer focus to the deer. It also adds an element of emotion above a standard posed photo. The photo should be cropped though to eliminate some excess background and foreground. -
Bill, I did not see that the leg angle is adjustable on the tripod. You may need a bushing adapter for 1/4"-3/8" threads? Might call Jim White on that. Doug~RR

Looks like the tom is collared.

Brian, Thanks for lead.

Can anyone find the trail cam pics of the dog peeing at the trick tank, and then the illegals filling their water jugs? Thanks in advance, Doug

This bonus pass report will tell you which bonus point groups drew in the 20% pass. Should also give one an idea what the top bonus points for each hunt may be the following year. http://www.azgfd.gov/eservices/pdfs/2008Bo...t-BonusPass.pdf

Icarus, you can try base jumping on the LCR, or how about Toroweap?
-
I wouldn't. Would rather cash in the 7 points on a Dec tag in unit 33. I would think you would have a better chance of a nice buck in 33 with little scouting vs unit 8 with lots of scouting. Also, access from up top in 8 in Dec may be limited with normal snow. But as a NR, you are under the 10% cap, and the cap was reached in the 20% pass for unit 33 Dec WT last year. 7 BP should get you in the 20% pass. JMO

Leica Douvid 10+15x50... Who has used them?
Red Rabbit replied to DesertDweller's topic in Optics and tripods
The Alaska Creations bino chest pouch that Amanda is selling is great for the Duovids , Swaro 15s, or 10x50s worn around the neck- no swing or bounce and padded protection. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/bookstore/binocular_pouch.htm
