Due to the delay, I would suspect AZGFD would have another opportunity for CC updates first.

Creed, if your wife draws and the card is declined, is the draw recorded as "card declined" or just "unsuccessful"? Perhaps in recourse, they will know her random number and be able to figure if she would have drawn.

FR 171 is also closed for the winter. https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/coconino/alerts-notices/?cid=stelprdb5339811

I was just watching that video yesterday after doing a web search. Looks like an easy make. After getting a few split necks, I started doing the propane torch and socket method with Templaq, like Lance.

Just a heads up that Midway has Lapua brass available in many chamberings including 6.5 CM, (as of 9am 2/13/2021) https://www.midwayusa.com/s?userSearchQuery=lapua+brass&userItemsPerPage=48

This might be a start using 200gr data. Start low under the 200gr starting load.

couldn't resist

Might be just as easy to rebarrel the 270 WSM with a faster twist to handle the longer bullets and also have a little more powder than the 6.8 Western. Why they never came out with a 1 in 8 twist 6.5 WSM is a good question. https://saami.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/6.8-Western-Public-Introduction-Orig-2020-11-01.pdf

I like the blaze on the face of pup #5. Good luck with the sales.

My folks have a home in Cave Creek, Arizona, so it is always fun to catch the quail, javelina, and coyotes around the house. This Christmas Eve morning, I noticed this male Gambel on a shrub acting as the sentinel. Fortunately he stayed long enough for me to go back in the house to get the camera. Nikon D810, 200-500 @ 500mm, f/5.6, 1/500 sec, ISO 640. The covey for which he was sentry had about 20 birds on the side of the yard moving under the mesquite trees and through the dried weeds. Listening and watching was fun for me and my GWP. Nikon D810, 200-500 @ 500mm, f/6.7, 1/350 sec, ISO 1800 Both images are hand-held resting against a wall or railing.

I thought this thread was going to be about Bass Pro buying Sportsmans Warehouse. Good luck with the sales.

I moved to Flagstaff in '91. I recall guns, cigarettes, liquor and water dogs. -

It was a Grade 3 like the 12 gauge I sold. -
The 17 Mach 2 is more uber, as it is shorter than the HMR like a Creedmoor is a shorter man bun cartridge.

Ruffs in Flagstaff had a nice 20 gauge Weatherby Athena about a week ago. I do not know if it has sold.
