Steelers Super Bowl XLV champion hats and shirts for sale. CHEAP!
Red Rabbit replied to 308Nut's topic in Classified Ads
One might also be able to go to Haiti or Uganda to get a shirt/cap set where they ship these "champion" shirts of the losing team to. Probably a few cheeseheads called in sick today after excessive celebration last night. -
Sweet! Don't forget about the coues contest.

Josh, Congrats to you and your group with Jim on a successful trip. I like how the tips of yours almost touch and the tall G2s. Doug~RR

Hoghntr, you may wish to include make and model of rifle, age, condition, round count, and accuracy in addition to photos when you get them.

Tony, Sasha was a fine silver lab that brought you joy, as will her memories. Sorry to hear the sad news.

Scott, Nothing here last night in Flag. Maybe 1/2" of snow yesterday. I like the clouds around the peak in #5 and the yucca in the last image. Edit to add that yesterday Flag received 0.03" precip, the monthly grand total also, whereas normal is 2.18" for January. Doug

With a front swinging into northern Arizona Sunday, some anticipated clouds could make for a nice sunset, so I headed to west of Page to the Paria Badlands on Saturday, and Stud Horse Point above the lake on Sunday. Saturday had clear blue skies to light up the colorful Paria Badlands. The town-site of Paria that has been used in a few western movies has unfortunately been burned down by arson. Sunday morning brought overcast skies and a slight glow. On the drive to Stud Horse, I stopped and made a short hike under clear morning skies into the Toadstools. Onward to Stud Horse Sunday afternoon. With a break in the clouds to the southwest, a colorful sunset was anticipated and received. The Torch Doug~RR

A Mexico Hunt for the Books!
Red Rabbit replied to cramerhunts's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Mexico
I like how the ends of the beams sweep upward a little. Nice accounting of the hunt to make we state-siders envious. Doug~RR -
Very cool video segment worth watching, imo http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/vi...inwi10s22a3q81f

Hector, think I gained three pounds reading your great recap before you ever took us hunting. Congrats. Those beams sure angle up.

Saw a few clouds in the sky Saturday, so made a quick drive to Sedona to catch a possible sunset. No archery deer permit in the wallet, so hunted with the camera. Rocks are so easy to stalk up on <grin>

Afternoon quail spot
Red Rabbit replied to mbiewer's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Where do you live? Someone might wish to PM a spot or two to try close to you. This time of season, you may hear more calling. Use of the wooden Lohman call may incite some responses to give their locatoion away. -
You might also try some Ramshot Magnum. It is a great metering, temp insensitive, slow powder. I use it in my 6.5WSM. Also less expensive than other powders and one can usually find it at Sportsmans Warehouse. There is 300RUM data on the Ramshot website http://www.ramshot.com/powders/

Those taking Don Martin's NR class in Kingman this April have their BP processed in time for the deer draw. So I would think this weekend's field day will work for the deer draw, if the guy holding it is punctual with the paperwork. (Don had a Jan class that had points processed in time for the elk draw.)

Casey, Real nice looking robert kitty. Doug~RR -
Looks like a good day of fishing. Only cost ya 2 bucks and I don't see any jetskis or wakeboarders in the photo's background.

I think Seth Staples in Parks applies Cerakote. I will PM his number to you.

Happy birthday! Should be a great day to be on the water, on a fairway, or on a hilltop.
