I strongly recommend you send them to Swarovski. Other than OEM's there are only a handful of reliable bino repair facilities in the US. None in AZ that I am aware of.

I've not heard of a 60mm Swaro scope (that does not mean much). Could be the older ST or AT 80 which are gray in color. Great scopes which usually go for $800 +/-. HD go for a little more. You might consider getting a serial # and emailing Swarovski USA. Likely they'll get back to you within 24 hours. Good luck.

Well done! Congrats to all.

Probably ought to find a less frustrating way to scout.

Is it still the lady with the raspy voice?

Likely they'll be at the sheep society hunter orientation. You'll be hearing from the sheep society soon.

I recently acquired some used swaro binos. Contacted swaro USA prior to sale with serial # and received an answer within 24 hours. Definitely worth doing. Also verified year of manufacture, etc.

I've got a 03 6.0, in spite of all the bad press I've had good service to 150K. Suspect I've developed some injector issues and will be spending some coin soon. I'm curious, who is doing your work?

I agree. I drew in 2010 with 14 points. The current CC hit for a sheep tag on my account is for applicants with 12, 9 and 4 points going into this draw. Ya gotta believe!!!!!

Do you have any experience with the non fluorite version?
-
Anybody got experience with the fully multi-coated version? How much do you give up not coughing up the extra money to go with Flourite? I understand the CA issue but is the sweet spot comparable on the FMC version. Resolution? Thx

Credit Cards Are Getting Hit. Post Up Your Results

Anybody get a hit on Fri/Sat? Seems like at the hits took place on Thursday all day and even late into the night. I wonder if it is over. -
TMP has made many formerly accessible areas inaccessible. I can think of a number of areas where a mile pack out is now three. Woodcutters, ranchers, feds can/will drive anywhere they want. Don't see an issue with an elk hunter driving out to pick up a carcass. Deer, not so much.

Mine too. Don't know who (brother, girlfriend or myself) or where but I got a hit for $265!!!!!!

Horrific. Tonight, I will pray for them all. -
That place was a gold mine. Had all kinds of weird parts for about anything on two wheels. It may have been junk but not inexpensive. Too bad.

Seeking Predator Calling Tips
Swivelhead replied to Santana Outdoors's topic in Santana Outdoors Blog
Good info all. I firmly believe that a quiet approach to a stand is paramount. Whether walking or using a vehicle, for me, a "sound barrier" is critical. A ridge between you or your vehicle and the intended calling area covers a lot of sins. Once across a sound barrier, I move quietly (slow) as my calling area is now exposed to any movement or sounds from me or my equipment. Try not to move too far before sitting down. Give it a couple minutes to let things settle and then begin calling When on stand, if things feel right and the wind stays favorable, no reason not to stay 20-30 minutes depending on what kind a predators frequent the area. Another trick is to stop calling after 10 minutes and wait another 5 or 10 to see if a curious predator will expose itself. Good luck!
