Saw this on Instagram...what’s your take?
Swivelhead replied to Yuma Outdoorsman's topic in The Campfire
Threshold idea sounds good initially. As thresholds are met, remaining open units would likely be overrun. Time to go to a draw for archery deer. Maybe do OTC permits for traditional archery (no wheels, no sights). -
It is really tough when not seeing sheep for days on end. You finished very well, congrats on a really great ram.

Wish I had read the instructions more closely. Used my sportsman's ID # for so long it is habit. Suspect they will dump the sportsman ID # in favor of the new customer ID# in the near future. Suggest everybody document their bonus points.........

I knew UofA football was a joke when Dick Tomey was fired. I was right.

Outstanding ram!

Store and maintain 10 dozen decoys for 3+ years waiting on another tag ...... Locate where cranes are feeding, beg landowner(s) for permission to hunt his/her land. Being that tags are few and far between, hiring a guide makes perfect sense. Pass shooting is OK but dusting decoyed birds is where it's at. Lot less wounding too.

Six tags for 3 species is insignificant in the big picture. Hopefully tag numbers will remain low for the app fee harvest by AZGF. I'm in!

The intent of this "loophole" is to get young people in the field. Tag transfer is a family deal with transfer only going to minors. I am all for tag transfer within families but suspect this young lady drew her own tag. Hope this family has an amazing experience.

Congratulations on an outstanding first deer. Great smile too.

Nothing finer than a sheep hunting expedition! Good luck and safe travels.

Got a Gould's tag in my realm, likely my sweetheart drew but you never know. 31 or 35B.

Outstanding work on a really nice ram.

Looking for a used tire, preferably a BF Goodrich All Terrain. A wheel would be cool too, 8 - 170 mm with a 4.5" offset for a 02 F350. Thanks in advance for any help. Phoenix metro or Showlow area.

Coyote gun Scope suggestions

Hate to think how many yotes got away that would not have if I'd been packing a shotgun. BB's, #4 buck. Recommend a "turkey" shotgun, camo'd with a 24" tube. -
BIG bear, congrats to all.

Beautiful dog, sorry for your loss.

Removing does is ALWAYS about limiting/reducing the size of a population, not the buck/doe ratio.

Ran a pair of these for many years. Very good optics. GLWS

^^^^ this, escape cover is key for foxes and to a lesser extent, bobcats.

You are probably right (hopefully). Maimograms are not cool.

I think I'm gonna puke.

IMO, don't expect to haul anything safely on a dirt bike unless it is on your back or centered on the bike. Handling can be scary if ANY weight is off center. Don't know about hauling a trailer. Agree with jcarter, a quad would be a better choice. As far a "putting around" goes, takes a lot of discipline to go slow, especially long term. If you end up with a bike, buy ALL the safety gear and use it!

Good 10s and low end 15s? or Decent 15s and low end 10s?
Swivelhead replied to MWagner01's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I assume you already own a decent tripod with a quality pan head/pistol grip. Quality 10X42's are my recommendation. Acquire specialty glass down the road as needed. -
Outstanding bull! Well placed hit too. Congrats.
