Someone is having a bad night. The error you made in the scope is about a $1500 difference. All i did was ask for information? I hope nobody buys this so they don't have to deal with an a$$hole seller. Nobody $hit on your post, bruh.
-
I think it's a rem with a painted wood stock?
-
$2500 is a lot to ask for a rifle with no information. I'm assuming it's a custom? Pretty sure that's a viper, not a razor scope as well.....
-
There are a fair amount of elk in 28 if you know where to look. Locals shoot them every year. Some good ones too
-
i think the one that is going to take the butt pounding, or the "buttpoundee" is not affiliated with the so called "Butt Pounders" if that complicates anything even more for you.
-
Just saw a post saying it's up to 8,000
-
Logs/trees can get struck and smolder for days before really taking off. Happened by our ranch the other day. Believe it or not Woody

Maybe the Groundpounders will hop back on and give some insight

that's gonna be a pig

Nobody "tore you up". One person said the bull in your pic was a lot bigger and you said "i realize that but didn't want to bring it up", it made you come off a little wrong to me. The bull my avatar goes over 400, and comes from a unit that is not even loaded up with elk, much less 380" bulls and i never drag another elk through the mud because of it.
-
In my opinion that is a way way bigger bull though. His ends are still way bigger and swollen, that bull will keep adding length for a while now. Hard to tell from the angle but looks like a toad. I realize that but didn't want to bring it up. He was a good bull last year. I wonder if he made it through. I didn't have a tag. Was scouting for deer. Because the bull in your avatar is a giant? Lol. Look at the distance between points on the bull in your avatar. Unless it had 30" whale tails, it's main beams were probably 45-48". He probably finished at 340" give or take 10". comparinf a 310-320 to a 330-340 is apples to apples bruh.

I know a lot of people love these. There is a Remington 660 in 6mm at cabelas for $349 right now. Fair shape, has a scope on it too. Someone will get a killer deal
-
Well, i sure am disappointed. This thread had possibly an all time high potential and it's turning into a bust. Boo
-
i think that is going to turn into a good bull. really good G1's,2's and 3's. back end still really knobby so he has a lot of growth left. he will end up bigger than the bull in the OP for sure.
-
.....and i had high hopes for this thread.
-
post em up!! Elk do love cameras. almost as much as mules and bears.
-
I would guess that bull doesn't really have any "surprises" left in his growth. i agree with the 310-320" 5x6. he is ahead of a lot bulls on growth, but doesn't look like he has a lot left in the tank. couple inches on all his points and mainbeams is all the growth he'll put on IMO. his 5X side is a little palmated at the end though. he might squeeze out a small 6th point on it

Bullets tight when chambered **Update**
GreyGhost85 replied to Camofreak's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Bullets are definitely loded too long. The scrapes are from your bullet being jammed into the lands, or rifling. -
Dumb...not impressed. Couple old guys with money trying to compensate.

Wow, with a response like that, i'm sure people are going to line up to give a non contributing newbie all their secret spots! Good luck!

Great movie. It's a shame Robert Redford is an Obama lover though

Go back to Russia, Communist

What would you build, as the perfect coues cartridge ?

6.5's are hard to beat. i sold my .264 win mag a few months ago and now i am going to have to replace it. Will either get another .264 win mag or 6.5x284. i prefer the 6.5's that you can push a 140 above 3000fps out of. I was shooting 130's out of my .264 at about 3300 fps. They hammered everything they hit. deer, elk, bears, everything. -
Good seller, easy to deal with. Nice meeting you!
