SOLD -- Campfires and Game Trails: Hunting North American big game
10Turkeys replied to Outdoor Writer's topic in Classified Ads
I have this book, there is alittle bit about Coues if my memory is working right. -
They are primed and the headstamp is Lapua. Got it home and ran a patch down the barrel. One patch isn't going to do it, pretty dirty.

Nikon Monarch 7 10x42 binos. Taken out of the box and looked at, never been outside. 400.00 Remington .22 Bucket-O-Bullets 1400 count. I would rather this go to someone who has kids and is short of ammo, and I'll throw in 500 Remington Thunderbolts. 100.00. Sold. For those that are looking for 6.5 Creedmore 143 ELD-X ammo, here is what I have. This was loaded for my Browning A bolt to fit in the mag, so the overall length is close to Hornady Hunter specs. Petersen Virgin brass, primer pocket cleaned up, flash hole deburred, case mouth resized, chamfered and deburred. 42.0 grains of IMR-4350, Federal 210M primers. IMR-4350 worked A Little better in my rifle than H-4350, it might not in yours. You will have to put it on paper to find out. 60.00. 50 loaded rounds. Can meet at the Sportsmans on 17 in Phx. First I'll take it gets it.

Marlin 336 Ranger point peep?

The XS sights are ok. At my age traditional open sights are like a bucket under a bull. -
Marlin 336 Ranger point peep?

There is Williams, Skinner, and I have a pair of XS on my 94. -
I just left Brunos and they had all three in one pound containers.

Shootout by Flys boarding house.

No I didn't. Don't use Retumbo and I have enough of the other two.

In 2017 we took my wife's rifle to the Lapua Center out on Higley Rd. They have a 100m underground range and they test different lots of ammo in your rifle. Test are done at 50m and 100m. The action is taken out of the stock and they rig something up so it's in a machine rest. This test was with Center X, which is the lower of .22 ammo that actually says Lapua on the box. Top target is 50 and the second is 100. The circle is 1 inch. These are 10 shot strings.

I bet there is a boat load of Anschutz guys and gals that would put up an argument with that Magnum Research being the most accurate rimfire on the market!
-
Could check out one of the cull hunts also.

With a standard bolt face, Tikka makes one action and it's long. They adjust their magazines on the smaller type rounds.

I picked up some free old powder
10Turkeys replied to ctafoya's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I used to shoot with a guy that shot with Thunderbird powder. There would be a flame at least 8-10 inches at the end of his barrel. -
I'll go Springfield 45-90.

The beer that made Milwaukee famous. Right up there with Falstaff.

Winchester at one time had a trick shooter, if I remember right his name was Herb Parsons. Anyway he used to throw like 8 clays in the air with one hand and the blast the he'll out of them. He said that was how he did it by leaving his finger on the trigger and pumping the gun for all he was worth.

Remington Nylon 66. Came in three colors. Mohawk Brown, Seneca Green, and Apache Black. The 66's fed from a tube in the butt stock. The 77's had a magazine. They had them in a bolt and lever also. The American Riflemen ran an article on them and the prices went through the roof. A real fun gun to shoot!
